lots to update!

ok i suppose we should start with the earliest. on feb 11th we were to have the sadie hawkins 
dance- which fell apart at school, so i had andrew mark and stacey over for spagetti  
we still got all dressed up and it was marks birthday as well! so we got to have a lil birthday
part for him as well! heres me and the boy all dressed up:

 lets see then- the next event was when me andrew mark stacey went to go see
Final Destination 3- DONT SEE IT- THE DUMBEST MOVIE EVER!!!!

next event was seeing the school play- it was really great if you missed it!

and finally- andrews doing a play in language arts where hes pretending to be dick cheney-
really really fat. haha so we went to the thrift store and bought size 58 pants and xxxl shirt
and then stuffed him with pillows and blankets. its the funniest thing in the world 

so i suppose thats a purty good uPdate for you  Hope you've all enjoyed it- tho staceys

saturday night: dad payed for me and andrew to go to a nice dinner at the Little 
Gardens resteraunt- very nice  too bad we got AMAZINGLY LOST. geeze what
an ordeal! once we finally got to the resteraunt tho- it was really great! yum

sunday night: my birthday and the superbowl sunday! andrew and my parents 
suprised me with an inverse suprise b-day party. only mark and stacey were to come
over, but when i opened the door, there were wendy and tara! haha more and more 
people showed up. it was pretty funny. we had a great time. 

  i have more photos and whatnot to put up, but its a school night so there's loads to do!

flute fair weekend

in summary: amazing

So i went this past weekend with the ama flute choir that i play with down to orlando for the 
florida flute fair- this awesome convention like thing where flute players, teachers, an those 
who just love flute all come to take mater classes, hear  all types of music, hear flute choirs 
from around the country, go to concerts with amazing musicians, buy awesome flutes, learn
repair, just.. everything you could every possibly want to know about flute! It was amazing 
and I had A BLAST. So here are some photos:

this is called a contrabass flute...HUGE...AMAZING!

we went to the exhibit area: a huge room filled with flutes, flute accessories, music, anything relating to flutes or that a flute player might want or need. Here i am, playing an alto flute. There were SO many flutes at each booth, most of which were  in the $1,500- $25,000 range.. crazy.

Saturday night we went out for dinner, had a blast, and when we got back to the hotel eric and i decided to try and put our music together. it was just awesome. i played his chords, he sang, then i sang withhim. it was just awweeesome.
 
sunday, it was our turn to perform. We had a good audience and a great show.

so thats about it. Mom and terry came down with me too and we all just had an awesome time. I made some best friends and had a great time, and the whole experience really motivated us i think. I know that i was really excited to play flute when i got back.
*Sigh* what a great weekend.
