| Didn't realize it had been so long! Well the Euphonic Productions Battle of the Bands, Sat Dec 10, 05, @ The Fire Place, Myerstown, PA, has come and gone, and I for one, by seeing all but the first band, can say that they were all good to great perfomances. I wouldn't have wanted to be a judge! The styles were quite diverse, and it is hard to say which band would have complimented Falling Up the best but my choice for that would have been Angels Wake, energy, show, tight, enjoyable, good songs, I thought they had it, but I've been wrong before. Any way guys, keep pushin on, you're doing great! The Anvil Affect had my vote for most changed show since Staple at Manheim, and several of the other frontmen did some amazing things, that required seeing to believe! The band that won the opening job for Falling Up was witout a doubt, the most accomplished band there, but I think they might be a little offensive to the average Falling Up fan, I hope they don't do the Maiden covers! Justin rejoins Torn Perfection for the shows during Christmas Break, after a great Div ll football season, so if you missed him check www.tornperfectionroxx.com or the newly expanded www.purevolume.com/tornperfection site for dates to come out and cheer him into jumping off of something! Till next entry, hope to see you at a show somewhere! Oh yeah, go to www.regerationstore.com and find out how to get your hands on a fresh copy of, Kronicles "The Musicmaker" one of the best alt/metal/screamo projects I have heard this year, majors included! | | |
