You've just gotten off a really long day at work. You hop on the bus that takes you home to your beloved family...just as you do every other day.

You pick your favourite seat. the one by the window; a perfect distance from the driver's seat and yet not too far behind where the vibrations from the engines are most felt. Your face expresses a calm patience as the bus takes its routine stops but inside, you're eager with anticipation, simply longing for that moment when you can enter in those front doors of your single-storey house, and be welcomed by the joyful shrieks of your children and the loving gaze of your wife.

Today is going to be like any other day. Or so you think. Well, maybe a little more special since the wife is making your favourite meatloaf. All this is running through your mind as you peer out the window that you don't even notice the man who casually chooses a spot on the bus, next to yours.

He lets out a cough. You turn to your left. He looks at you, and the both of you give a slight nod of your heads; saying 'hello' without really saying anything at all. The wonders of communication. You turn back towards the window. Just 3 more stops and you're there. Ah the anticipation is killing you.

But not before your fellow passenger does.

The man next to you, that you so cordially shared a nod with just a mere 10 minutes ago now has knife in his hands and is standing, his 5 feet 6 inches figure towers over all 6 feet of you. Still fixed to your seat, too stunned to move; you wonder " What is going on?! " You both hold your positions for what seemed like a good 5 minutes before everything else became a blur and life as it was, ended there and then for the very unfortunate you.

Now you're being talked about everywhere. Your face is splashed all over the news. The horrible 'incident' will be front page news for the next few days to come before something more shocking and unsightly happens somewhere around the world. But for now, it's still you.

You've always liked the idea of being famous. Famous for your accomplishments and your contributions to the line of industry you were in. After all, that is what you slaved most of your adult years for. Never in a million years though, did you imagine that your name would appear in news stands everywhere for being the innocent man brutally stabbed to death in what is now infamously known as the 'bus slaying murder'.

90% of what i just wrote is fictional. But a canadian man really was brutally stabbed and beheaded by the passenger next to him in a bus.

    Scary, i know.

uber siennnnnn. sorry for the lack of a better word. but sometimes, the most inarticulate ones are simply the best fit when u are in such a mood as this.

freaking ebuddy is making me feel worse. annoying nonsense.

    *screams*

right now i feel like going somewhere far far away, just me and my trusty dslr. taking random but hopefully somewhat artistic shots. i want picturesque shots of the sunset! the beach! something caming, serene, blissful.

*deep sigh* but i'm stuck in uni. what can i do?

    *snaps out of momentary daze*

hmm..that was weird. didn't sound like me at all, did it? haha.

    results are out (:

    and i did pretty good.

considering the whole 4 papers in 3 days debacle, i am left unscathed and happy after it all.

and i am very very grateful.

when i was tired, You strengthened me

when i was doubtful, You reassured me

when i was unfocused, You were my motivation and drive

when i was down, You held me up and kept me going.

    so Thank You.

going back in a week. don't want, can?

well, plus side to it is at least jane will be making a visit to melbourne real soon!!! *fingers crossed*  jane, we're gonna have an awesome time shopping, eating, freezing our butts off in the cold and having late night girly chit-chats about the stupidity of our counterparts!

    yay, can't wait!

seriously, there has to be SOMETHING one can blog about even in the most ordinary of days right? apparently not for me. there's absolutely nothing in my 'oh-so-exciting-i-can't-contain-myself' life that i feel the need or urge to share...except maybe:

    1. My feet are freezing and i am currently looking like a very unglam geek in an oversized sweatshirt, pajama pants and socks on my feet. ( yet my feet are STILL freezing! )

    2. Exams are in...*counts* 20 days.

    3. Oh my gosh exams are in 20 days?!

    4. Well at least i'll be home soon...for a good whole month too!

    5. I'm turning 20 in a little over a month. *screams in panic*

    6. I officially hate the number 20.

    7. I am convincing myself that turning 20 really isn't that big a deal. it's like turning 19! only....not. *sobs*

    8. I am looking for a housemate.

    9. I feel like going to the beach.

    10. I feel like eating kimchi chigae (kimchi soup)... a direct effect from watching a new korean series, 'Spring Waltz'. Daniel Henney!!

    11. I feel like eating kimchi chigae, with Daniel Henney, by the beach. *hooza!!!*

hmm..not bad. i came up with 11 items. More than half of which are beyond irrelevant...but an update is an update all the same, my friends.

    till next time,

    xoxo, ming.

PS: no.12. American Idol finals tomorrow. ARCHULETA! ( although my intuitions tell me otherwise )
