| Ladies and Gentlemen"Ladies and gentlemen please
Would you bring your attention to me?
For a feast for your eyes to see
An explosion of catastrophe
Like nothing you’ve ever seen before
Watch closely as I open this door
Your jaws will be on the floor
After this you’ll be begging for more
Welcome to the show
Please come inside
Ladies and gentlemen
Do you want it?
Do you need it?
Let me hear it
Ladies and gentlemen
Do you want it?
Do you need it?
Let me hear it
Ladies and gentlemen
Ladies and gentlemen good evening
You’ve seen that seeing is believing
Your ears and your eyes will be bleeding
Please check to see if you’re still breathing
Hold tight cause the show is not over
If you will please move in closer
You're about to be bowled over
By the wonders you’re about to behold here
Welcome to the show (welcome to the show)
Please come inside
Ladies and gentlemen"

| Oy! What a semester, and it's over halfway done! I've already signed my
life away for both summer sessions and next fall, with a rather
rigorous schedule and work as well....
:)
By the way, is anyone not married, engaged, pregnant, or some combination of those? I'd like to hang out. If you ARE married, engaged, or pregnant, I'd also like to hang out, but only if I knew you before you came into those states of being (Karoline or Erin!).
I do wish that some of the people I once hung out with (like at Campbell) were closer.
I've been to Apex a few times and guiltily thought about Anne Elisabeth
and how I should totally go visit her after church, for instance....
and I go to Cary regularly and remember Erin and Daniel's residence,
which used to be there. Rebekah's farthest away, unless you count
Eddie. And Karoline... I don't even know where she lives... but I think
it's nearby....
Anyway, if any of y'all want to hang out, say, on a Thursday or
Saturday evening, and you're somewhat close to Raleigh or at least
Cary, I'd be more than happy to make arrangements :)
P.S my cellphone doesn't work, so contact me online if anyone out there sees this.

| From myspace. This semester seems pretty cool to me. We'll see what happens. New beginnings and all that.
Although
there inevitably is a lot of baggage from before. But there is so much
to learn! My favorite is communication so far, then accounting, weight
training, psychology, economics...
Meteorology isn't quite as exciting, and my TA is a bit strange, but that is still fun because I get to meet lots of new people!
Although it is sad that I can't see last semester's friends as much...
Laura might be working with me! That would be fun.
I'm
starting to like music a bit more this semester-last semester was
rather bleak in a number of different ways. But there is so much I can
do! I mean, think about it.
And smile. | | |
| Work and DatesSo... random work story. While finishing a 5 hour shift, I was asked out by a larger man older than me. No joke. I will think it's amusing unless he comes back. (He seemed to be the type to leave if he knew I wasn't available.)
"Hey, I noticed you while you were here. You have such a pretty smile! Are you single? I felt that we had a connection." Etc etc.
"No, I have a boyfriend... have a good night!"
This never happened to me before. Maybe he was just desperate? Hmm...
Anywho, thought someone might like to know....
