Ain't Nothin' Like Me

Alot happen this summer and I must say it was all good. I found out that I will be officially done with my military contract come May 22, 2008. I have mixed feelings about that but I am ready to move on and have the freedom to go where I want without having complications due to military obligations.

Spent most of my time here in Daejeon, S. Korea and then headed to the Florida for 3 weeks. Had a chance to go to Disney World which was VERY HOT but fun. I did fun popcorn there though!!!!

Then spend a week with the in-laws and then Tiece and I headed off to Port Canaveral for our week cruise to the Bahamas and Mexico. We were there with about 18 other friends from TCIS which made it real fun. I enjoyed the all you can eat buffets and had a great time at sea with my wife.

I had alot of time time to waste and I was bored.

So now I am back home in Korea and ready for another school year to start. I had a great time though short while I was in the states but I missed my kids and am ready to see them again.

I am truly the luckiest guy in the world!!!

Centrifuge 07

Well I finally made it through two kids camps and am now just relaxing and catching up on sleep.

Centrifuge

I had a good time working with M.S. and H.S. students for a week. These kids are really neat to be around and a blast to play with. A big majority of them come from military families which makes talking with them and having them open up to us even better. It is always good to see some of the familiar faces that always come to camp. I worked with 9th graders which I really enjoyed.

Centri-Kid  Sorry No Pics!!!

This week I worked with 3rd- 6th graders and must say it was probably the longest week of my life. God definately tested me and "blessed" me with giving me a couple of "special" kids on my floor. Let me just say that last night I  was able to go to sleep without being woken up at either 2am or 4am in the morning. Gotta love little kids!!!!!

So all Tiece and I have left is my 7 days of military reserve duty up in Seoul. Once I get all that done with we will be heading out on July 15 for the states for 3 weeks which will include shopping, going to Disney World and a cruise to the Bahamas. After that we will be coming back to Korea for our 4th year.

When I look back on this year I am so grateful to my Heavenly Father for the following....

The love of my life and an incredible woman to work side by side with.

Myspace

My 33 middleschoolers & R.A.s that I had the priviledge of working with this year in our dorm.

Myspace2

Myspace1

The extra pluses that God blesses me with.

Myspace5

AND

The relationships that Tiece and I get to make outside of our dorm.

Myspace7

Though another year has come and gone, I thank God for all the blessings he has given me even though I do not deserve them. To see where I can from and where I am now, it is only by God's grace that I am here.

Steppin' Out

Well Spring Break has come and gone. Tomorrow the kids return and then no more breaks till the end of the year. During the break I went up to Seoul with some friends for two days and just went sight seeing. Besides that I have played a couple of games of indoor soccer & hockey with OCKs and remaining staff that are here. Tiece and I have also got caught up on our 24 tv series as well as our Prison Break series.

It has rained alot here lately. The soccer field & grass courtyard right outside our dorm were full of little ponds. Last night I heard the longest thunder I have ever heard and then a little while later it began to pour. Something about sleeping to sounds of rain.
