Shortly after my return from the Botanic Gardens, I fell ill with my temperature running high. It could be due to the time I spent under the sun all day, without drinking any water. I had walked from Orchard Isetan, bypass the Thai Embassy towards Nassim Hill and all the way to the Botanic Gardens.
From there, I spent the next few hours exploring the newly revamped garden, and reliving in the past as memories of me visiting the Botanic Gardens as a boy started flashing in my mind.
The last time when I visited the Singapore Botanic Gardens, I was only like this short:

Stare what stare? I'm wearing the latest fashion of that era, hokay? My shirt is the 旋风小飞侠 !
I like the wordings and floral design at the
Tanglin Gate.
The Swan Lake Gazebo

Here is one of the two Swans seen frolicking in the lake

I like this picture of the (fake) geese staring out into the lake

Man-made waterfall at the
Ginger Garden

The Bandstand

Can you see the snake?

The
Botanic Gardens is indeed a beautiful garden with lots of interesting flora and fauna. It's a wonderful experience to embrace nature, to immerse our soul and mind in it where we see nothing but floral, and hear nothing except the harmonious singing of the insects and birds.
Most importantly, this place holds a lot of special memories where my family often came for family outings - something which we haven't done in a long time.
So, when was the last time you visited the
Singapore Botanic Gardens?

i just went to explore the botanical garden a couple of months ago too. had a good time shooting and exploring, even thou the sun was blazing hot. but it was a waste i couldn't enter the jacobs garden..cos it's only for kids or accompanying adults. should bring along a kid the next time round!
noticed that you love taking shots of the skies and clouds too. i love it too! keep it up! :)
