| Xanga wants me deadSo in order to keep my xanga site alive, I have to post something.
Ok that was easy.

| Today I got a 17% raise. That makes me happy. We're dog/house sitting for one of Ceri's coworkers this weekend, which means that we will have access to cable tv. ESPN here I come.
Everyone should check out Wilco's new album. If you are against downloading it you should check out their website where you can listen to the whole thing for free. Then you should go buy it Tuesday when it comes out. It's awesome.

| It's weird when one of the staples of one's life is about to change. After five years, I'm going to leave Palen to work full time at Electronic Security. Policies at Palen are changing and I'm ready to only have one job. The hardest thing is letting my students know. I've taught some of them for over three years now and it will be hard to say goodbye. But, I'm excited about only having to go to one job every day. I think it will be a good thing.

| So we were without power for five days, and are finally back in our house. It's nice to be home. My grandparents and a friend of Ceri's from work were kind enough to offer us a warm place to sleep while we were without power. God is good and took care of us.
So I was tagged to tell six weird things about myself.
1. I never planned to lead worship anywhere. 2. Most of my favorite tv shows are no longer on the air. 3. I once cut one of my student's fingers. 4. I am the oldest of five kids with seventeen years between me and my youngest brother. My wife is the youngest of five kids with seventeen years between her and her oldest sister. 5. I like to kick my sister and she misses it when I don't 6. When I go into a building, I analyze how well the alarm is installed.

| $1400
That's what it costs when you have to replace a transmission and axle
in a geo prizm. Hopefully there will be no more problems with my
car for awhile after this. I hate cars, especially when they
don't work.
In other news, wilco is awesome. After seeing them live for a
second time I am convinced that they are one of the most consistently
good bands out there today. I'm also amazed at how much someone
will pay to get into a place with several hundred people only to get
trashed and make a fool out of themselves. Springfield security
is crap and Jeff Tweedy had to beat off a crazy fan who jumped on
stage. Sometimes I think there should be a screening process at
shows to see how many people are already drunk before the music
starts. Then they could just send those people home since they
won't remember the concert anyway. Stupid riff raff.
