Look, it's a new layout. That's how boring spring break is currently. =)

WEEKEND

Let's see... On Saturday I helped my dad build this shed for our backyard at the house we're moving to.. It was fudging hot! I got sunburnt really bad on my shoulder. =(. Now it stings. We didn't even finish the shed. We got about three quarters of it done. Then on Sunday, I went to IKEA with my family to get my sister her bed. Then I got myself one of those flexible wooden maniquin (I don't know how to spell it.) things. I always wanted one as a guide to drawing figures so I got it finally. Then I went home and did some homework. =X..

SUMMER

So, a week has gone by since the beginning of this Chemistry Prep course at SJSU. It's quite helpful. But the drive down there is horrible. It's so boring. And today it's so fudging hot. 96 degrees!!!. And my sunburnt shoulders don't help. =/. Now I still have around 150 pages of psychology to read... So basically I'm not doing anything that exciting for the summer. Just more school stuff. It's cool though. After this weeks over, I get more time to relax and pack my stuff to start moving to the other place and then pack again for school. =).

THURSDAY [6.22.06]

So Thursday was my Orientation for SJSU. =). Woke up really early and went down to San Jose with Eric and Diana. We got there in 20 minutes because we sped like crazy. The weather was hella nice in the morning. I love it. So we parked and then we went to the MacQuarrie Hall to take our Math Placement Exams. Stupid 20 dollars to take the test just to get into Calculus. Bleh. Then we checked in and went to drop our stuff off in our temporary dorms. Royce Hall looks like a jail and it smells. Jeez. I'm glad I'm not going to be in those dorms in the Fall. Haha. My roommate was pretty chill, so that was good. At least it's not some crazy person. After that we went over for some welcoming thing and dispersed into mini groups. We did icebreakers and all that new stuff. Then we scattered into our major groups and had some advising info sessions. The classrooms in the business tower are so tight. They even have internet cables on the desks. Pretty cool. After that we ate lunch. Then we had to go to these little info meetings. Our group leader had a weird but funny personality. Haha. He seemed hella nerdy, but he's pretty cool. Then after a while we had dinner on the grass. Then we had a tour campus and our group leader, Josh, started telling us stories about the haunted first floor of Royce and second floor of Hoover where a girl was murdered and some other stuff. That was creepy. Later on we had a skit to watch which was okay. After that, we had some activites and bowling was free so we did that with some other new people. Pretty fun.

Oh yeah, we also met up with Denise and Jon from Lowell.

FRIDAY [6.23.06]

I actually woke up pretty early. It was probably because of the weather. Anyways, I'm pretty stupid. haha. So I decided to go to the bathroom to brush my teeth. So I left my room and closed the door to go to the bathroom. I brush my teeth and then I walk back to my room and I noticed I forgot something. I left my room keys in my dorm room!! lol. I was like crap, what do I do. I hesitated a little before knocking because I didn't know if my roommate was awake. So I knocked anyways and fortunately he was awake. Dang, that dumb of me. Then I just packed up my stuff and sat in the room looking at the class catalog. My roommate and I were just chillin in our room and didn't realize more than half of the people in our hall already left and went to checkout. So we hurried and then there was this long ass line. Then we just waited for the stupid checkout thing. Then we had breakfast and scheduled our classes. Man, the advisors are so weak. They didn't tell us that this one class for Calculus wasn't open, so I did my whole schedule with that class that supposedly didn't exist yet. They didn't tell me... those crappers. =X. So I had to walk across campus to the Math Department to get a code, but there wasn't a code so I had to walk all the way back to the Engineering Building to reschedule. Hella tiring and the weather didn't help. Frickin 98 degrees. After that, Diana, Eric, Denise, Jon, and I drove back toward San Francisco and stopped in Millbrae to go to Quickly's. Then they dropped me off first and went home.

ORIENTATION RECAP

SJSU is a pretty nice campus. The weathers really nice, except when it went up to 98 degrees. Heh. And it was so different from Lowell. At SJSU, Asians are actually somewhat the minority. But yeah.. Anyways, The dorms wwere a nice experience, but it felt weird to room with someone I don't know. It felt a little uncomfortable. Haha. I guess it's nice to experience college life. I met some pretty cool people. Most of them seemed to be from San Jose or somewhere really closeby. But yeah, it was fun. Now I got a sweet schedule and I can't wait till college starts. haha. =). I have class at 8:30 everyday, but long break on Monday after 12:00 until 5 something for my night class. Then on Tuesdays and Thursdays my last class ends at 12:20. Hella free time. My Wednesdays are the worst. I have non stop class until 2:30 and then a night class. Then Friday I also end before 12:30 which is pretty sweet. Not bad, compared to a regular 7:35-3:30 schedule at Lowell. =)

RANDOM

Oo, that was long. Hmm, there's a bonfire right now but I'm not going. I'm too lazy to drive. Haha. Oh well. Hmm, I'm peeling. I never peeled on my arm. =X.

Oh yeah, I'm going to my older cousin's baby party thing tommorow. I haven't seen my dad's sides cousins in a long ass time. She had a baby with a kokujin! It's kind of weird because you know how traditional Asian families are... But yeah. I can't wait to see what the baby looks like. Mixed babies are usually adorable. Heh. I'm imagining extremely ghetto people tommorow. It should be interesting.

THURSDAY [6.8.06]

So Thursday was the Senior Picnic, but I decided not to go. I didn't think it would be fun, so I went to Great America with Cow, Giraffe, Whale, and Monkey. (Haha, code names) Anyways... the weather was so freaking nice in Santa Clara. It was much better than San Francisco. That day was my first time going on the rollercoasters. Haha. I've only been on that Rugrats baby one when I was a teeny little chubby baby, but I guess that doesn't count. So we arrived there at around 10:00. Then we went on The Demon as our first ride. That stupid ride hurt my neck and my neck kept aching for the entire day. Sadly, I probably have to stretch out next time haha. The Demon was pretty scary. =X. Then we went on the water rides and the other rollercoasters. I went on most of them except Drop Zone and Invertigo. =X. Those were too intense for me. Heh. After Great America, we went to eat at Olive Garden at Stonestown. The food was great and the service was interesting. Haha. Then we all went home. Fun stuff.

GA Rides:
Demon - Stupid ride hurt my neck.
Water Rapids - Hilarious.
Top Gun - It was actually a comfortable ride. Quite intense.
Vortex - This dumb ride hurt my crotch and my ears. =X No fun.
Survivor - Pretty cool.
Delirium - Similar to Survivor. It was alright.
Grizzly - Nyeh... It hurt my sides. Not comfortable.
there's more but i'm not going to list them.

FRIDAY [6.9.06]

Friday was pretty fun too. I went to Santa Cruz with some of the volleyball guys and gal. Played some beach volleyball which was awesome. I got sunburned really bad all over my arm and face. =/. But the beach was nice. We played against some asian guys that were horrible. It was boring. Then after we beat them, we just played doubles and triples and stuff. That was fun. It is hella tiring though. After that, we went to walk around the boardwalk and then we left to go eat at Hometown Buffet. (I think that's what it's called...) We had some interesting talks and just laughed our asses off. Haha. After that we went over to Aunt Shel's and played some games and watched Chicago. I didn't really watch it, I just fell asleep throughout the whole movie. Then I just went home after that. Fun times. =)

SATURDAY [6.10.06]

I woke up late and then relaxed and watched some tv. Then I took a long nap and accidently woke up late and went to Chris' Belated Birthday Party. There were lots of people and lots of food which was pretty cool. Haha. Talked with some new people, so that was cool. Yeah..., I just chilled and watched tv and stuff. Then watched people play some Pick up line game, which was hella funny because some of the things people said were ridiculous. Haha. Then played some Taboo and other stuff which was cool. Then a lot of people left and we just talked about stuff. Haha. After that I just went home very late. =)

TODAY [6.11.06]

Woke up early because my parents kept bothering me. Then I went with my family to go eat breakfast in Chinatown. We did some grocery shopping and then we went to Serramonte to go shop for some clothes for my little brother's graduation. Then I got some sheets for my future dorm room bed. After that, we went back to my parents workplace and did nothing. Later we had a family dinner at Koi Palace. (Mmm, hella good place.) haha. Yeah.. then I came home. That's all. =)

Man, that was long.

Friday, May 19, 2006

Today was Kermesse, so I skipped a few classes here and there. Oh well. Didn't really do anything today. Left school at 11 and went home and took a nap. =). Then went to Irving to get some stuff for prom. Then picked up brother and went home.

Senior year is almost ending and I can't wait. It's going to be sad, but also a big relief. Lowell wasn't that bad after all. Except for... somethings, but yeah. I can't wait to go to college and live in dorms. SJSU. =). I should of went to UCSC and switched UC's after 2 years or I should of applied to Cal Poly SLO. Oh well. I made my decision already so whatever. SJSU should be fun, I hope. So...in college I'm considering playing club vball at SJSU, so I should probably work this summer to afford it. I also want spending money which is a plus. Haha. Time to go job hunting. I guess no Japan for me this summer.

But then again, I never do what I plan to do in the summer anyways. Haha.

Wow, my English really is bad.

Volleyball

Our volleyball season has officially come to an end. =(. Yesterday was championships against Washington at Lincoln's gym. Sadly we lost, but I'm glad we got this far. I had my doubts, but I'm happy we stepped it up in playoffs and claimed a spot in champs. Championship game was okay, the score was so close everytime, but Wash seemed to pull it through and win it in the end. They had a killer middle whom I wanted to dig so badly. I felt like I didn't really do anything in the game. I don't think I got any digs, but that's okay. I guess? Anyways... it was quite a gloomy/fun day. It was fun playing Libero for this team and I'm glad I got myself into playing volleyball for Lowell. A special thanks to Ms. Louie for suggesting me to stay in volleyball class during my Freshman year, so I can learn how to play. Heh... I probably won't play as much now that my high school career is over. Open gyms? I don't know, I always feel awkward when I go to those things because I still don't know rotation! I only play backrow. =X. And some people can be such an ass when they see a newbie who don't know rotation. I just feel stupid when I go...Whatever.Hmm... I don't know if I'll play club at SJSU, but it'll be fun. Heh. Maybe, just maybe. If I still can pass, because I'm so short and the only thing I can play in college is Libero.

As for the volleyball team, you guys are great and it was fun playing on the team with every one of you. Luckily, I haven't refered to my "list", so no one has died. =P. j/k. And thanks Mikey for coaching us last year, I probably won't be a decent passer if it wasn't for you. And I hope everyone keeps in touch and keeps playing.

And if anyone has pictures from champs show me. =)
