i couldn't resist although they remain pricey. i've been eyeing the posh print for some time already. i bought the 22" carry on case and it came yesterday, and i just want to bite the whole entire thing.. it's so girly and pretty. now -- i'm hoping it will last with wear and tear. i love the separate shoe compartment underneath.

i almost bought this for my niece...... and i should've because it's now sold out online. this is the first piece i saw with the posh print in person when it first came out and i totally loved it.

...now - browsing the purse forum, do all the items really go on sale even further -- someone even mentioned 90% off? do you gals know? (perhaps the outlets?) the girls were complaining on the forum how expensive the stuff is and that they'd wait..because i should've just bought the matching bowling bag at the same time...

ohhh...how i love stationary. when i was younger, the one thing i always looked forward to for the new school year was getting cute, new supplies!

i'm looking for a new day planner/agenda. sometimes i have to write things out these days - instead of being so independent on my outlook calendar or google calendar. i like day planners that leave you lots of room to write for individual days.

any suggestions on websites? i've used all different types and all different brands. but i can't seem to find anything that i'm sold on that i'll use over and over again. i don't mind spending money on it either...... cheap or expensive -- i'd love to hear what you recommend or what you like to use!

ok - so i laugh because lots of us are writing about nordies.

thank you for sales! although it's warm in SD -- it's hard to think about things to wear for winter. but i couldn't help it.... and i snagged the last gray one in my size. thank goodness since they're back ordered on the UGG site.

they're so comfy. i don't care if people think uggs are hideous...

picked up a couple other things, including a pair of ed hardy sneakers - but i wanted to get out of there FAST. it was super busy! i'd rather continue shopping online..!

we ended up going to my hometown for the 4th this year. it was lots of fun because a lot of my family were in town! and the fun part is? i forgot how much fun it is to shoot off your own fireworks. it's not as "ooh aaahh" as some of the big firework displays, but we still had lots of fun with all the same looking fountains, and smashing those piccolo petes..

ooh. i LOVE you rum cake. this has got to be the best gosh darn rum cake i've had in my whole entire life. and we always go to our local bakery every time we're home to get it. Mmm..

see -- you gotta throw stinky feet in the mix to throw your opponent off when playing mario kart...

get a load of this torch we bought for my nephew. it's HUGE. the guy described it as a larger version of a sparkler. we had no idea how it'd turn out to be. we were all laughing hysterically though. it was SO powerful!

*****ETA: the whole reasoning for the 6 word memoir came from hemingway. he was once challenged to write a story in only six words. his was -- “For sale: baby shoes, never worn.” so this whole 6 word memoir thing kinda sparked and has been passed along blogs for a while now.. if you google it, there are some really creative ones out there.. heartfelt to super funny.. !

happy 2-9 birthday to me....

wow. 29. when i was a kiddo, i used to think that when you're in your 30's, you're ancient. dinosaur ancient old. my perspective has totally changed though!

i know 30 is next year, but i really feel close to it as i turn 29. there's a part of me that wants to hold on to those gosh darn 20's (.....so many good times and milestones, but all the drama that came with it too..) and i'm a tiny bit sad that this is the last year of being a 20-something. but on the other hand -- i feel happy to let the 20's go.

..and where the heck did all this time go?

..but now that i'm closer to 30 -- i certainly do feel a lot younger....i know there's a lot to look forward to, i'm happy that i have a better understanding of what i want, and excited for what the future has for me, and for hubby.

bring it on!!!

i just figured i should say "hi". i feel like i don't write much on here anymore since the wedding's all overwith, and much hasn't been going on..

work has been, well work. i hope things change soon..... careerwise.
started looking into the whole wedding coordination thing, and had a big talk with the other friend of mine who wanted to go in it together. (heart to heart talks are always good.) i emailed my wedding coordinator, and i'll be helping with some of her weddings this year so i can get a feel for it all. i'm so happy that she's willing to help!
starting to schedule some classes for the whole wedding/event planning thing. these things are all $$$!
we're dying for a house-house. our little condo isn't cutting it anymore, and we're both dying for a garage! i always wonder how we'll ever round up a down payment for a house, although we've been trying to save for it. (how in the heck do you all do it, or did it...?) i dont' know if we'll ever be able to sell our place now with how the SD market is. i keep browsing for homes, and a couple have caught my eye. should we be exploring things like putting our savings into a high interest savings account? 100% financing?
my birthday is coming up in 10 days.. yay! going away for a long weekend.. thank goodness...
trying to get my booty in shape for the boudoir session - trying!!! i have to post some ideas!
