| | What a long frikken day. I just got home from Hawaii. I'm drained and sleepy. I still can't believe I've been blessed to see such a place, not even that, but to be able to spend time with good-ass company. I love my family, my cousins, goddaughter, friends. I love them all. If they were a different group on this trip, I know the turn-out would have been completely different.
I'm thankful for everything I got to experience, the sights, the oddness/uniqueness of tourists/locals wandering the streets. I'm thankful for the food we ate, taxi cabs, bellboys (grins), surfer boys, that hot japanese guy at marqet, drizzle on hot sunny days, awesome beaches, banana boats, jetskiing, our hot bod jetski guy, clubbing, "the rocks" and the cave at the beach, poke, buttery nipples, coronas, jellyfish that we can actually hold in our palms, the market place, bargaining at the booths, buying baby formula and beer at the grocery store, buying boxes and boxes of chocolate everyday...FIRST NIGHT.

We don't wanna sleep here, "but it's for Jazley's sake...", "Oh, it's only 20 minutes away" which actually meant "1 hour drive!", "We're waking up at 6am and going out", "I'm never gonna drink ever again!", "Lloyd's my partner!" "I'm first..." "I'm second..." Walk 5 minutes, rest 5 minutes "wait for me, I gotta pee!", shoves and pushes and slams the door shut! "Ok, she needs to shut up..." "How many times did you guys take pictures with this waterfall? It's not even real!" and many many more.
Days in Hawaii definitely go by slow. It felt like I was on vaca for a month or so. It was awesome! Awesome! Awesome! We're all going back but to a different island. I can't wait! |
