well that is people, i'm officially 16 now,

just four more years until i turn twenty,

god how time flies.... i had a great time today,

and to those who might think otherwise, you know me...

you know how my face always looks like i'm either

bored or depressed, but i assure you, this is the best

birthday of my life, and not just the food (lolz) but

most importantly, because all those i care and cherish

showed up and helped make a memorable 16^th birthday

for me....

and now i have to make 'thank you's for different people...

that you showed up today, even when you were sick...

when i said what i said, i didn't mean that i wanted you

to leave, i was worried that if you stayed longer you might

get worse... i hope u know that... and your birthday gift

was amazing, u know that i like art don't you? thanks, it

was a great present... love you babe.

2 susu: well first of all u didn't buy me a present...

but that's okay, i don't take it personally, i know u're busy

with tenth standard and yiec and all... so don't worry

too much about it, although we've been distant lately

knowing that you're going through a strict diet these days

today has been a truly memorable day and will always be

one of the most precious moments in my life where words

couldn't even begin to describe....

Parents are bizarre creatures... don't get me wrong, I love mine... I just think they're weird at times....

Take for instance, one minute they look like they're ready to skin me alive cause I don't appear to be studying too well, next minute they go all supportive because they know I'm dealing with studies I've never seen before. Confusing much? I mean, you pick one emotion and you stick to it... you don't go hopping from one sentiment to another... anyone else agree?

And let's not forget the constant pressuring, they keep saying that they don't expect much out of you and then they tell you that if you don't get Straight 'A's, well they don't really say anything but you can read everything in their eyes... it's like a hidden message, I know they won't kill me, but the disappointment is enough to devour me whole! You don't need to watch Jeepers Creepers to get freaked out... just go to your parents, they'll do all the work....

Let's not forget about teachers too, if you ask them how they think you're doing in your studies, they say it in a kind of "let's change the subject" way, so you start thinking "god I must really suck", and then when your parents ask them, they go "oh, your child has a brilliant mind, she just needs to work harder," so you start thinking "hey, am I good or am I bad? Let's get everything out in the open here, I can take the truth"...

So basically what I'm trying to say is, why can't grownups just say what they want to say? Don't be all British and go this way and that way and this way and that way just to state one simple fact, it's a waste of energy and time... if I'm bad, okay I'm bad, if I'm good, okay yay! The most important quality you can find in a person is honesty! I may not be entirely honest but I'm not exactly dishonest either... I'm an expert at giving half the truth =P
