hi ppls, its been a while but i'm back. at home i have a crappy slow connection which is quite annoying. but now i'm back at uva with a fast connection and virusfree laptop :) which is very exciting. so yea i'm at uva and now we have a semi apartment (with a kitchen). this means i'm cooking :) or at least trying to. lol. plus i'm back with my awesome roommate from last year (yay) and we already got weird phone calls where noone talks when u pick it up.

but yea gotta go sleep cuz i woke up at 6 to get parking permits (but i got one!!). i need to be awake and ready to go recruit new first years for sharaara tomorrow. peace - neha

Hi people! ok, so now the massive amounts of exams and paper begin. I have three exams and one ten page paper (which is almost done :) ) in the next three days :( . And two of my exams are in classes that are on the hardest classes list at uva. So, wish me luck :) and leave words of inspiration (i will need them). peace.

Ok, so about the creepy stalker guy. j/k i don't have any more info on him. but on a completely different note, india's pm decided to ask pakistan if they wanted to start peace talks. this is amazingly great news at first. but if u think about it, pakistan has to agree to have the talks, then something has to come out of it. and all the while the politicians bicker about what to do with kashmir, the kashimiris are suffering! don't those ppl think about what the kashmiris are going through? i bet some of them don't care which country they are given to as long as the war stops. what really frightens me is that a couple of weeks ago, india's pm made the statement that if the US is justified in going to war with Iraq and making a preemptive strike, then india is justified in making a preemptive strike against pakistan. i am so glad they didn't do something like that. i mean, even if he didn't mean what he said, countries shouldn't go around making statements like the ones he did. Anyways, i sincerely hope something comes out of these peace talks!!

on a side note, i haven't listened to music all day long and i have studied all day long!! i think i might just go crazy, or i might give in and listen to music :P .

Hey people. wow! i haven't updated in a while. well, nothing interesting has happened and i have been studying for exams, which explains why :( . but i hope exams, aps, etc. have been going well for people. g'luck with all of them!! ok so i have story to share:

There i was sitting on my bed reading my bio book :P and suddenly (dun dun dun) the phone rings. So our phone is really quiet and i didn't hear it immediately. Anyways, i run to the phone and pick it up (btw, Jenn is sitting at her computer). this is the conversation that followed: (n = neha, j = jenn, cg = creepy guy)

n: hello?

cg: muffled speech

n: hello?

no reaction

n: hello? (getting impatient now)

cg: can i talk to jenn? (this was said in a creepy Scream/I know What U Did Last Summer way in an extremely low voice)

n: (getting freaked out but i didn't wanna say anything cuz what if this is a guy jenn knows really well?) umm sure, jenn! its for u!!

j: hello?

cg: mumble mumble

j: hello?

cg: mumble mumble, what are u doing? (still in the same creepy/freaky serial killer sort of way)

j:  nothing. what are u doing?

cg: mumble mumble

j: who the hell is this?

cg: i'm horny (same sort of voice)

j: i'm hanging up the phone now!! (completely freaked out)

Then jenn slammed the phone down and related the conversation to me. We were both completely freaked out by the possibility that she is being stalked. We are currently sitting in our rooms with the door locked :(  trying to find out who it is. It is probably a prank call, cept: Our phone refuses to give a dial tone when we try to call back home. The second thing that happens in a scary movie, the dial tone dies. This also happened when its semi dark outside so after that when jenn and me are still freaked out it is also dark outside :( . We'll be sure not to investigate any creepy/suspicious noises outside. and btw, don't call our room, we probably won't pick it up anymore :)

hey people, whats up? I'm really bored (actually i've been bored for all this week) i don't have stuff due until next week so while everyone is studying i have nothing to do (other than the reading i could catch up on :) ) but yea today and this weekend should b interesting. i'm going to lunch soon with my class at Milan (the indian restaurant). and then i have a bio review group to go to, which is soooooo much fun :) j/k. but yea after that i'm going to dinner with my favorite dhamakars!!!!!!! (i love the first years and i miss them so much) but yay i get to hang out with them again :) lol after that is a usingers concert which should be fun (although i know nothing about music at all).

tomorrow night is gonna b so sad :( i'm dreading it. its the last real weekend i'm hanging out with my fourth year didis. :( :( i don't know what i'm gonna do next year without them. ok enuf sadness, it'll b fun cuz i'm seeing them tuesday (last day of classes :) ) too. and other than that, this weekend is gonna b study study study :( which won't b fun.

u know what i realized? that this xanga entry  is really boring so i actually feel sorry for people readin this :) i hope something interesting happens that i can put up :) okie, bubye ppls
