awe-struck !

Micah 6:6-8

6 With what shall I come before the LORD
and bow down before the exalted God?
Shall I come before him with burnt offerings,
       with calves a year old?

7 Will the LORD be pleased with thousands of rams,
with ten thousand rivers of oil?
Shall I offer my firstborn for my transgression,
the fruit of my body for the sin of my soul?

8 He has showed you, O man, what is good.
And what does the LORD require of you?
To act justly and to love mercy
and to walk humbly with your God.

Let all things their Creator bless,
And worship Him in humbleness,
O praise Him! Alleluia!
Praise, praise the Father, praise the Son,
And praise the Spirit, Three in One!

O praise Him! O praise Him!
Alleluia! Alleluia! Alleluia!

This is one of those days that I been waiting  for a long time... and by the Grace of God, I lived it : )

I am about to start my career. I got my offer and I am so thankful :)  It started of as a really bad day... and God just showed me, that I am held  in the palm of His hands.... no matter what.

I have no other way to express it other than - awe- struck :)

The only thing that makes me sad is that my Appachen is not here with us to see this day... He would be so proud of me. I wanted to follow in his footsteps... although its not the same exact position... atleast  its in the same industry. You are such a big part of me... and I miss you sooo much :(.

now wish me luck :)

the chaos theory

  • what are you going to do with your xanga after you die...i mean what if it was sudden.. do you have a password keeper to all or any of your accounts? i personally think i would like someone to log in and just write an entry saying that I died, so there wont be any more entries hahah
  • i love jon and kate plus 8, its the freaking cutest show ever. the fights within the kids and between the husband and wife are so real that its so awesome. 80 % of time, kate talks... poor jon sits there and pretends that he cares. i feel bad for him... on a serious note.. women talk a lot. i didnt quite realize it was that bad. ladies... shut up every once in a while.. it wont hurt you!
  • also talking about reality tv... have you guys seen little people big world.. so i was watching this episode...i like that show too and obviously i dont have anything against little people.. but its kinda fascinating to me how normal they are. i know that sound soooooo wrong on so many different levels but im just being honest here and stay with me!. so their kids are little and big right... there are these twins.. one little and one big... and the little goes to the dance with a normal sized girl... im like sitting there likee amazed... SHIT if he could put aside his fear of rejection and confidence ... shy or whatever else excuse we all give... and get himself a date.. damn. i applaud him. what a great inspiration! seriously... that was pretty awesome of him, i wish i was atleast a little like him.... but ohh no.. wuss!!!
  • if your organs inside could talk.. what do you think they will talk about.. who would be best friends? i think the lungs and liver would be friends.. i think the heart would be a loner..random question i know but it came up earlier.
  • LOST : omg... are they in heaven.. are they really dead???? im so freaking confused... wth

Life : Explained

Life:

Explained

A boat docked in a tiny Mexican village. An American tourist complimented the Mexican fisherman on the quality of his fish and asked how long it took him to catch them.

"Not very long," answered the Mexican.

"But then, why didn't you stay out longer and catch more?" asked the American.

The Mexican explained that his small catch was sufficient to meet his needs and those of his family.

The American asked, "But what do you do with the rest of your time?"

"I sleep late, fish a little, play with my children, and take a siesta with my wife. In the evenings, I go into the village to see my friends, have a few drinks, play the guitar, and sing a few songs. I have a full life."

The American interrupted, "I have an MBA from Harvard and I can help you! You should start by fishing longer every day. You can then sell the extra fish you catch. With the extra revenue, you can buy a bigger boat."

"And after that?" asked the Mexican.

"With the extra money the larger boat will bring, you can buy a second one and a third one and so on until you have an entire fleet of trawlers. Instead of selling your fish to a middle man, you can then negotiate directly with the processing plants and maybe even open your own plant. You can then leave this little village and move to Mexico City, Los Angeles, or even New York City! From there you can direct your huge new enterprise."

"How long would that take?" asked the Mexican.

"Twenty, perhaps twenty-five years," replied the American.

"And after that?"

"Afterwards? Well my friend, that's when it gets really interesting," answered the American, laughing. "When your business gets really big, you can start buying and selling stocks and make millions!"

"Millions? Really? And after that?" asked the Mexican.

"After that you'll be able to retire, live in a tiny village near the coast, sleep late, play with your children, catch a few fish, take a siesta with your wife and spend your evenings drinking and enjoying your friends."

And the moral of this story is: ......... Know where you're going in life... you may already be there.

heart - these dreams

These dreams in the mist
Darkness on the edge
Shadows where I stand
I search for the time
On a watch with no hands
I want to see you clearly
Come closer than this
But all I remember
Are the dreams in the mist

These dreams go on when I close my eyes
Every second of the night I live another life
These dreams that sleep when its cold outside
Every moment I'm awake the further I'm away
