| Today we had a banquet to welcome the summer team that just arrived in Xining. It was so awesome! Everyone was so nice and we all got along really well. The team has a really hard summer ahead of them; in about a week they are going up higher on the plateau and live with the nomads there. They all look pretty tough though, so they should be fine. Later today Elizabeth and Vonne are going to teach some of the girls here how to take good pictures. I know the girls are so excited; I think they just like using the camera though!
I can't believe I have been away from home almost a month. I never thought I would last this long, but God has been so good. I haven't gotten too homesick. I miss my family and life in Eggleston so much, but there haven't been too many times where I think I'm gonna die if I don't go home. | | |
| I'm in China right now sitting in a internet cafe. I can't believe I finally made it here. I met my friend Vonne and her friend Elizabeth in LA a little over three weeks ago and we all flew to Thailand and stayed there for a week. It was sooo awesome!!! We went to Night Bazzar which is this street with tons of little shops along side the road. They sold lots of cool stuff for really cheap. Thai silk, shoes, LV handbags, knives, and the list could go on and on. I am really enjoying my world travels, but I also can't wait to get home. I miss my family so much. I am gonna have so much to do once I get home though. I have to pack for PBC!!!! My pastor gave me a scholarship!!! What an answer to prayer!

| Life is so busy right now. I go to school, come home and do homework, eat dinner, more homework, and then the highlight of the day,watching Lost with Caleb and Jesse. I do enjoy school though, at least for the most part, so it's all good.
My spring/summer is going to be sooo crazy and exciting! April 13th my whole family leaves for the Philippines, and won't get back until the 29th. Two weeks later we are going on a trip to Alaska and Canada. Then two weeks after I get back from that, I'm going to China with Vonne and her friend Elizabeth. I'll be gone for five to six weeks. I'm even gonna stay in Thailand for a week before going to China. I am sooo excited! Once I get back frm China, I'll be packing my bags and getting ready to head off for PBC. Wow, so busy but fun!

| Wow, it has been forever since I posted! Life has been sooo crazy! My dad's computer started freezing up, so I haven't been able to do anything. Nothing much is going on, just school. Saturday I'm going with Jesse and Lauren to see The Pink Panther and then go roller blading. I'm so excited! Next weekend I'm going to the Valentines Banquet at PBC. That should be fun; I'll get a new dress!
My dad finally decided about going to the Philippines. Our whole family is gonna go. Caleb isn't too excited, but he'll get over it. I can't wait. I'll be helping Dr. Culley with the medical clinic, so it will be interesting. I am kinda worried about missing two weeks of school though. Oh well, if God wants me to go, He'll help me get everything done!

| Sometimes I ask myself why life has to be so complicated. I mean, life can really suck at times. But then I always have to remind myself that God is in control and everything will turn out all right. I just have to focus on doing what God wants.
