O, and I want to do Habbitat for Humanity, maybe I'll be able to in the summer- I would have to find an adult to go with me... If anybody wants to do it with me, just say the word! I probably won't be able to... we'll see! Expertise: Being a brat. Haha, no, I hope not! UH... I am kinda good at math, building, doing random things like rockclimbing, and flips on trampolines... O! and I am pretty good at piano, atleast for how long I have been taking... Occupation: Student

| Independence is weird.GAMES is amazing. College is so much better than highschool, well, atleast what I've had of it so far. Except the food stinks, I've eaten at other colleges, but I never wondered if their food was edible. Its Sept. 02 and its my 1st weekend home. Its interesting. Can't wait to see people from church tomorrow. I was going to eat lunch w/ Lauren on Fri. at Brookwood, but I lost the Highschool schedule, and I didn't get home early enough to call her about it.
The drive was terrible! I only got semi-lost once, and I thought that was pretty good for the first time driving home from college, and also the 1st time I had to navigate all on my own. I was afraid I wouldn't be able to get home, but I was ok. The weather was terrible! There was a tropical storm coming through and the rain was so bad I had to go very slow just to be able to see the road. It was crazy. It took about 4 1/2 hours including the lost period at the beginning and short breaks and the incredible slowness with the heavy rain. I was happy I made it home alive with the weather and I was getting tired. Atleast the traffic wasn't bad, except for the idiots who kept trying to tailgate me with their lights in my eyes. Pardon the language, but it was extremely annoying. The people I've been meeting have been really diverse and fun. I love all of us wackie gamies. Its just been fun. I'm sure classes will get harder later and it probably won't be quite as fun, but I think I'll still like it more than highschool. I've missed people and it is exciting to be home, although at first it felt weird. My dorm room has quickly become somewhat of a "home", but its definitely nice to actually be home. Last night my family and I went to this place called "Medieval Times". Its this arena thing that you eat and watch a show of horses and knight stuff. It was pretty fun. Its weird they don't give you any silverware or anything to eat with. You're supposed to eat with your hands like in medieval times. The horses were pretty and do this dancing thing, its pretty cool. O, and you have sides you root for. We had the Red & yellow knight, and when they win events they go get flowers from the "princess" and so, my knight in shining armour gave me a flower last knight. Lemme tellya, true love right there. Oh yeah.
| Yesterday I went shopping w/ my mom to this new shopping center that opened yesterday. Its high-end expensive stuff, but I had fun trying stuff on. Its funny how when clothes are tons of money how they tend to look good more often. I didn't buy anything, but it was fun and we almost got our picture in the newspaper, but they didn't end up using that picture.
I am leaving tomorrow for college. I still have some stuff to do, but the closer the time comes to leave, the more I don't feel like I am ready for college. I think thats fairly normal, although when I told my mom that one she pointed out that I'm really not supposed to be yet (thank you... we've been teasing each other tons lately)... O well. I have a gut feeling that thats where I need to be this year. I think its just nerves. I guess its natural to be nervous when you know things are gonna change. I guess I'll begin to see how much it'll change very soon. I'm on a rollercoaster as Its clinking its way up into the air.
Well... I do like rollercoasters.
| alot of things have ahppened since I last posted. For those of you who haven't found out, I'm going off to college 2yrs early. I talked to my roomie briefly and our families are having dinner this weekend to meet. My brother says he wants to go, but I think he only wants to go to be annoying and be a busy-body. He usually doesn't care about stuff like this.
I got my license last week. I'm doing driver's ed this week. My teacher is crazy, but fun. At first I thought she was under the influence of something she was so hyper.
Mountain T.O.P. was INCREDIBLE!!! I made some friendships that I pray will last.

Choir tour was amazing. Now I can add tearing down a building to the list of things I've done. and the damage that is still present on the gulf coast was astonishing. For a block or two from the beach there is nothing but slabs of concrete where buildings used to be and damaged trees sparingly. There was still tons of trash in the trees and piles of stuff in ditches.
College shopping is going slowly, but I think I'm getting close.
And the front of car shopping isn't getting very far.
| Happy Birthday to me!
I bought an iPod!! I've wanted one for a while. I love it. its shiny...
hehe.
Went to Athens this evening. visited w/ family & went shopping. not exactly a dream sweet 16, but it was fun... I would've had a party, but I couldn't think of a good party idea, and it seemed like too much trouble to plan one earlier when finals were coming up.
