it's about to snow in kansas city....snow A LOT!
so in honor of that, i guess, it's new music day. new christmas music day.

i have a love/hate relationship with snow. i love that it is pretty and peaceful and pure, but i hate that it's so stinkin' cold. seriously, if it could just be 65 or 70 degrees out and STILL snowing, i'd be thrilled. i need to move to heaven....i bet they have warm snow up there.

happy halloween everyone.

i present to you, lilo schmilo hurst as "chipot-lilo."

we had some trouble getting it on at first.....

but then she started workin it.

mmmmm.....chipotle.

the schmo is barbacoa....of course.

sometimes i can't believe she hasn't run away from us yet.

so there you have it....lilo became chipot-lilo today for halloween. sarah and i haven't put on our costumes yet, but i'm going to be one of those sexy little playboy bunnies. i'll have pictures of that later on.
i look so hot with a bushy little tail on my butt.

today at work i solved an "evil" sudoku puzzle on websudoku.com.
it only took me 65 minutes and 41 seconds.
it sucked....but it killed time.

new music day!
with a whole bunch of awesome new shows starting their latest seasons soon, i decided to make a playlist of some of the best intro songs ever used. some of the shows are already cancelled, but most are still pluggin' away.
i'm particularly psyched about the new season of House starting on september 5th. i already saw the season premier....and it was awesome. one of my favorite lines from the season will probably be from this episode...

Cuddy: "You're giving me medical reasons for the procedure. Usually you bust in here and tell me that you have to do the surgery because his pancreas is going to explode and his brain is on fire."

it's gonna be a pretty great season for television. as conan o'brien said in a recent interview, television is just getting better these days. with shows like lost, sopranos, house, 24, etc, the bar has been raised and networks can't just put junk out anymore and expect people to watch it because nothing else is on. it's nice to see them trying. i know you're thinking how big a dork i am for writing an entire blog entry about tv....but i know that deep down you're excited for your shows to come back on too. i think we can all say that if we had too wait too much longer for The Office, or new episodes of Lost, all of our brains might actually catch on fire.
TV is getting better and, yet, Passions is still on television somehow. go figure.

in case any of you hadn't heard yet, world war III just started.
when are countries and/or groups gonna learn not to screw with israel?

seriously, when hamas kidnapped two israeli soldiers, the israeli military responded by lining up a good chunk of their entire forces on the border, including a crapload of tanks and missiles. and then when that didn't intimidate them enough to return the soldiers, they launched an overnight blitz that kidnapped 60 hamas politicians, officials, leaders, etc. yes, i said 60. israel just doesn't screw around....and they don't seem to care too much about diplomacy or getting the rest of the world's approval.

today, two israeli gunship helicopters hovered over the beirut airport and just rained down bullets and missiles on the airport until just about everything was asploded...and then for good measure they asploded the hizbollah chief's place of residence.

i think it's about time for me to re-enroll in school just so i can dodge the draft.
maybe i'll take racquetball for a fifth time....i got A's all the other times.

pearl harbor sucked, and i miss you....

why must there always be bad news associated with movies i'm excited about? with star wars, episode 1, it was the news that jar jar binks was in it. with episodes 2 and 3, it was that jar jar binks was still in it.
anyway, before this turns into a "what's wrong with today's movies" rant, i'll get to my point:
the transformers are coming....that's right, robots in disguise, more than meets the eyes. the whole deal. next july 4th, the transformers will be gracing the silver screen in all their awesomeness. i HEART the transformers, i had a bunch of the action figures and watched the cartoons and played transformers in the backyard. the transformers are one of the coolest childhood cartoon/heroes ever. they rank right up there with the ninja turtles and GI Joes. so....july 4th, optimus prime is gonna lay down some well-oiled robot justice.
the bad news: michael bay is directing the film. enough said.

i miss the transformers more than michael bay missed the point when he made Pearl Harbor.
i guess Pearl Harbor sucked just a little bit more than i miss the transformers.

so, i updated my playlist. that's about all for now. no specific theme really for this one, just really chilled music that i wish i had more of it.
