| 1:36:26 PM praecipitaverunt: ha I can't believe they added fan fiction to the dictionary
1:36:32 PM postnomer: did they really?
1:36:35 PM postnomer: but
1:36:43 PM postnomer: it won't be serious until they just call it fanfic
1:36:47 PM praecipitaverunt: I thought it was kind of self explanatory
1:37:12 PM postnomer: well, it might be fiction written by nonsentient objects used to cool oneself when one is overheated
1:37:13 PM praecipitaverunt: if you know what fans are and you know what fiction is....
1:37:15 PM praecipitaverunt: ha
1:37:21 PM praecipitaverunt: or about those object
1:37:21 PM praecipitaverunt: s
1:37:24 PM postnomer: yep
1:37:32 PM postnomer: once upon a time there was a little fan named fanny
1:37:37 PM praecipitaverunt: "Bobby Fan loved Loretta Fan, but he couldn't let her know..."
1:37:42 PM postnomer: fanny had flowers on her, and could be folded up very small
1:37:55 PM praecipitaverunt: fan slash!
1:37:56 PM postnomer: one day, my little sister got ahold of fanny
1:38:04 PM postnomer: and fanny died a horrible ripping death
1:38:06 PM postnomer: the end.
1:38:23 PM praecipitaverunt: Bobby Fan smiled at Jacob Fan, who lay sleeping in the bed next to him. It had been some night.
1:38:41 PM praecipitaverunt: Their motors had barely gotten any rest.
1:38:46 PM postnomer: good thing they're fans... otherwise i'd say that would be hottttttttttttt
1:38:52 PM praecipitaverunt: hahahaha
1:38:52 PM praecipitaverunt: ew
1:38:53 PM postnomer: (note the many Ts)
1:39:14 PM postnomer: dude, you say ew to my comment?
1:39:25 PM postnomer: you're the one talking about not getting any rest...
>>edit. Apparently, in our slash fan fic, we neglected to mention
that the fans blew one another. Good thing I have people like Amanda
around.

| So, I guess I neglected to tell everyone, but I'm not going to be
around most of the summer. I'm at school. Doing work. Ew, I know. But
it's kind of exciting; I'm a research assistant for my English
professor. Yay for that. Anyway, don't be confused when you don't see
me for most of the next four months.

| I'm a conformist. http://kevan.org/johari?name=Sharona
Do it if you feel like it, but don't feel obligated. And feel free to write "anonymous" or some equally vague name where they ask for your name. Yay.
>>edit. Did you guys know there's a negative one, too? http://kevan.org/nohari?name=Sharona I just discovered this. Neat. | | |
| This question is asked all the time: If you could meet one person, dead or alive, who would it be?
This is the question I'm asking: If you had the opportunity to sit down and have lunch with someone, dead or alive, who would that person be? Meaning, the person who you'd really like to sit down and have a long, thoughtful conversation with because you really admire them. So not like, I wanna meet this person because they're hot. Whose personality and intelligence and talents do you respect the most?
I'm torn between two: J.R.R. Tolkien and Douglas Adams. Tolkien because he's absolutely brilliant and just listening to him talk would be a treat in itself. A discussion with him on fantasy in general, and on writing, would be the most rewarding experience of a lifetime. Douglas Adams because I think he's a comedic genius and the way he uses language is absolutely unparalleled.

Which Action Hero Would You Be? v. 2.0 created with QuizFarm.com |
Sweet, Batman is the best ever.
Yesterday, I gave blood at a blood drive for the first time. I was
perfectly fine for about five minutes afterward, sitting at the table,
eating cookies and drinking juice. The very next minute, I suddenly
felt nauseated and dizzy and warm. Apparently all the color drained
from my face, because the people who were supposed to be watching me
freaked out and started calling for help. The Red Cross people hurried
over and made me put my head down and then they stuck me into a chair
with little wheels on the bottom (not a wheelchair) and rolled me over
to a cot. I had to lie down and elevate my legs and breathe into a
paper bag and stuff. And they put ice packs behind my neck and on my
chest. It was all very exciting and then I didn't really get to go to
my next class.
Anyway, that was my interesting story for the day. I think we're going to the mall now; thus ends this xanga entry.
