I love KC ... more later ...

call me, beep me!

I love Thursdays! They are my regular day's off from the hardware store, so I usually lay in bed until a too late of an hour and do a whole lot of nothing...which was the case yesterday! I did get up and go grocery shopping ... ugh, more money spent that I don't have! Bowling was great last night, went to Bellies afterward with Ty and Alan. Those boys are fun, I enjoy spending time with them! Today we have a panel for a Into to University Honors class, I am excited for it! I need to find someone to hand the ropes to, I am leaving in May and want to phase my way outta here! I need to get ready... Peace and Loves~ Jason

Cher - The Farewell Tour

If I could turn back time...

Today was fun! I worked from 8am to 8pm pretty much! I worked at the hardware store from 8am to 5pm, and then at best buy from 6pm to 8pm. I had supper at Pizza Hut with a few friends, and had a really great conversation. I was talking about how the gay community used to be here in manhattan. When I came out here there was a true community of gay men and women that worked like a family. There were the old gays that people respected, the middle crowd that kept the drive, and the young ones like me! When the newbs would come out, we would look out for them like a family, protect them, and help them grow. Now, when the newbs come out they are sucked into a click, told bad things about the other clicks, and never get to mingle! It makes me a little sad, and fairly angry. I want the newbs to have what I had, a large community that sure, had clicks, but still interacted. You were able to "click" with a group of people, but still met many others and had the chance to meet many more people. I guess it does not do well to dwell on the past, I guess we can only look at the future and lead by example! My gma emailed me yesterday, great news, she has now been cancer free for a year!! I thought that was uplifting, I thought I would send her a quick reply, it ended up being probably three pages long, haha. Anywho...back to Cher's Farewell Tour on DVD (thanks adam ;) ) Peace and Loves~Jason

And the beat goes on...

SO ... I went through and deleted all of my old posts that weren't anything significant, and some that were, lol. Most of is was horrible drama from years past, oh how exciting life used to be, lol. I have my second training at Best Buy tomorrow, should be fun!

oh my xanga

well, lets start with a basic run down of this weekend!

Friday was fun, for some reason, I just wanted to get drunk. Not drunk as in a few drinks, but drunk. I was successful. Had a few friends over as usual, it was a good time. Monica Moree's Dance Extravaganza heard from me about 18 times, haha

Saturday I volunteered for the Manhattan Music Festival, and was a runner all afternoon and into the night. It took its toll on me, I thought it was smart to wear flip flops (fashion over function girls!!) Yeah, so by tenish I was TIRED. The bands were great though. I was able to spend time with great friends (heart you Nas and Melissa!) I ended up getting alot of drinks bought for me, so was much more drunk than I wanted to get, lol. I ended up running into a friend from KC, and went with him to an afterparty. The afterparty was winding down, and I was still drinking strong, so people came back to my place for another afterparty! I think I passed out around 4:30ish? Yeah...

Sunday!! OMG. Wow. We played Earthball. I had to sign a waiver that pretty much gave men of other fraternities fair game to kick my ass...and they did! We did pretty well for the first time ever! We beat Sigma Pi and then lost to Farm House and PIKE. Farm House was in the championship and PIKE was about three or four back, so they were good teams. I have been trying to recover ever since, haha. It has become fiercely apparent that I am NOT in shape, and need to get that changed! We will work on it, see how it goes! Loves!
