What happened to clapping for professors at the end of the semester? They seemed to have disappeared as I descend further into the hell of Chem E. Hmm.

What's wrong with Zidane?

Zidane has lost it. What caused the classy captain of the French team, which was tipped to win on 10:7 odds against Italy before the match, to headbutt an Italian player in the chest and win himself a red card out of the world cup?

Granted, Italians can be more annoying than the French sometimes. But still, Zidane is an experienced player who must have suffered patiently through his previous matches with Italy. This cannot be the first time he has been insulted or yelled at by an opponent. (Does he have an sudden acute mental illness? Hmm...)

So we'll await the gossip columns to catch up with Zidane's antics and see what's really up in this otherwise superman's head over the next few days. Such an unfortunate exit for the team that seemed to be taking control and weathering fatigue very well, even though I don't really like the French that much myself. 

Avoid any Little Italies or Little Frances unless you want to be trampled.

Do I really look that different in photographs? I must be not very photogenic.

Brought the bed to my apartment today. It was really a workout even with Ben's help. At least I get a big comfy mattress and boxspring to sleep on now and my back won't hurt as much...

Chicago Trips

Here are a few pics of my two trips down to Chicago in the past few weeks. I'm not going to be too descriptive as I'm rather unwell right now, but I may add on more later.

I must look a bit drunk here with my hat on and everything. This is taken in the hotel lobby, which features a huge bar and a club named "Harddrive", which I thought was really cool.

Inside the Water Tower Place, with tons of classy shops. I really like the COB Bigelow apothecary, but the stuff inside are way overpriced.

The weather is so hot, close to how it was like in Singapore. My plants do not look too happy about this.

Want to keep a pet hamster because hamsters are so cute. But how will it survive when I travel (when my plants already die all the time)? =\
