A group of researchers have conducted a research over several decades on over 2000 people who were born within minutes of each other. Astrologist claims that people's lives are guided by the stars, sun, moon and planets, if you were born in certain month you were suppose to have certain traits and the more accurate the result will be if you know your birth time and place. The 2000 subjects were registered since birth and were checked up regularly and they looked in to more than 100 traits that astrologers likes to use such as personality, marital status, wealth and so on, and they found that these people has nothing in common as astrologist would have suggested. They also pointed out that some astrologer would argue that few minutes of different could make a big different, and yet they are more than happy to take just an estimate of the birth time from the client to make the prediction. A profitable website can make over 50million pounds (the study was done in Europe) so the astrologers were pretty pissed off by their research when the results came out.
This also reminded me of my psychology class, my professor show us a video of another astrology expirement that was conducted in a university class. An "astrologer" came into the class one day and gave everyone a work sheet, he asked that everyone fill out the form as accurately as possible, it asked similar questions any astrologer would ask such as your exact birth time and place, and few days later he came back with the result and passed it out, and he asked people to rate the report from 1 to 5, 5 being the most accurate, most people rated 4 or 5. The guy than tells everyone to give their result to another person in class and read their result, it turns out that everyone got the same result.
So the next time you want to pay money for crap like that, think twice! Well don't be too offended by my blog if you are a strong believer because I'm a Gemini and according to my astrology report, my evil twin never believes in things like this, so it was actually him writing, but its really not my fault that I was born in May and have split personality.

Julio Diaz, a social worker was mugged by a teenage boy, to the boy's supprise Julio offered him his coat and treated him to dinner.
"If you're willing to risk your freedom for a few dollars,
then I guess you must really need the money. I mean, all I wanted to do
was get dinner and if you really want to join me ... hey, you're more
than welcome."
The boy accepted his offer and went to have dinner with him, the boy was supprise by how friendly everyone was to him at the restaurant, even the dishwasher. Diaz replied, "Well, haven't you been taught you should be nice to everybody?" "Yea, but I didn't think people actually behaved that way," the teen said.
At the end of the dinner, Diaz told the boy that he has to pay for the dinner because he has his wallet unless he wants to return it to him, without hesitation the boy returned the wallet to him. Diaz also asked for his knife in return for the dinner and again without hesitation, the boy handed him his knife.
---- While most of us might not have thecourage to talk to a mugger with a knife the way mr. Diaz did I think we can apply the same principle to the people we meet. Treat everyone with kindness and they will do the same, and who knows you might be able to help them too. Has anyone been in a similar situation where you turn the person around with your kindness?

See, every neighborhood's needs a gay touch. Although there were no explanation, my guess is that the homo's know how to decorate their lawn which make the neighborhood more attractive, they have more money because they don't have little bugers to feed so they can spend more at local restaurant and shops. So be kind to your homo neighbors or they will move out! Do you have a gay neightbor? if so do you feel that their present makes your area a better place to live in? Are you a homo? if so, do you feel that you've contributed to your neighborhood's value?
I spend the weekend in Vegas with several friends, there we saw the musical Mama Mia, it was not bad but I think I would have enjoyed it a lot more if I knew more of the song, and to share with you my experience, I found the most wonderful rendition of the song Mama Mia...enjoy
