| I'm still working on the paper. But I have interviewed two people for a new apartment mate. I already met someone who sounds like pretty good fit.
Harm and I went to a new place for dinner last night. I hate myself for liking it so much. http://goodeatings.blogspot.com/ if you want to read my review on that.
I played tennis for a little while on Saturday with a new hitting partner. First, I hit 5 balls out of the court (these are high fences too). Then, while jumping over to pick them up, I hear a rip, "shoot, I think I ripped my shorts" I'm then stuck on the fence. I finally get unhooked. "oh yah, you did." Lucky me, I'm wearing colorful striped underwear... at least it wasn't anything skimpy. And now, I'm sore.
So I have multiple goals for this summer. Learning to do video editing (harm's going to teach me!), midi creating, learning to photograph so I don't have to rely on auto, a couple sewing projects, painting, finishing my sculpture (hopefully within the next couple weeks). Also I need to plan out my year financially so I not take out unsubsidized loans. Stinks how little money I ended up receiving this year for school.

| Yay! I finished several of the large assignments. One more. One redo. One more month. oh.. then two more assignments.
Then... Indian Camp, (which pays rent), Hong Kong, Taiwan and school again.
Turns out I have to take an incomplete for my class for the time being. I "make it up" by finishing up this month and turning in the two assignments. I'm really looking forward to next year, not to leave the kids but just to start all over.

| I have written about half of my paper due Friday without really understanding what the prompt is. I hate the feeling of just hanging in there. I was so looking forward to the semester ending and being able to enjoy summer and everything else. Now it turns out I'll be continuing with placement and trying to finish up my work for at least the next month probably. I enjoy the kids, but I'm definitely sad about losing so much summer. At least there will be no more actual classes.

| I received a distinguished service award tonight at the governor's dinner. The board has kept this a secret from me for several weeks. Phuoc got up to announce the award, he started by introducing the "old gentleman" and described various things that were worth noting. Then said, "just kidding, it's actually a girl and she's young" I applaud the board for their ability to keep secrets. It was a wonderful honor, thank you to Berkeley Kiwanis.
