does everyone still use xanga at all anymore? i wonder. let me know if you do.

a couple things of interest...

1) 2006 Youth Winter Retreat is coming up soon! gotta sign up. the dates are december 26th-28th. it's tuesday through thursday. it's gonna be fun.

2) risk is a fun game. takes long, but it's still fun. or maybe it's fun because i won. i don't know...ask jimmy. it's one of his goals to beat me.

3) if you know anyone that wants a civic SI, let me know...there's actually a few coming in that are not spoken for...2-door and 4-door versions available.

4) i wonder if anyone is even signing on to xanga anymore. are there any new features that i should know about? there was something about tags...something else about footprints. i have no idea what all that is. =)

what is the "right" thing to do?

so i just saw cast away (the movie) again last night. it was the second time i've seen it. the first time was a really, really long time ago...when it first came out.

while we were watching it, a couple of us were wondering what the "right" thing to do was in the situation presented in the movie.

tom hanks was gone for over four years, and then comes back. by then, helen hunt's character has married and had kids with someone else...their doctor.

what's the "right" thing to do for each of these people (the doctor, helen hunt, tom hanks)?

pps ~ civic si's are on a waitlist til october or november. however, there is a habanero red civic SI coming in at the end of this month that nobody knows about yet. do you want it? let me know! a blue one is also coming in in september. = )

alright. i have some questions for you guys...i need your opinions on laptops.

if you have any experience with laptops, good OR bad, give 'em to me. i want to know why you either like or don't like a particular laptop of company. if you know anything, even though it's not from personal experience, you can still tell me. i need information on anything from hp, dell, sony vaio, toshiba, mac, etc...anything...everything.

let me know.

and also, your opinions on intel chips vs. AMD chips. (i.e. intel centrino vs. AMD turion)

Vince Young passed for 267 yards and ran for 200 more to lead the Longhorns to a 41-38 victory over top-ranked USC in the Rose Bowl Wednesday evening. Young, the game's Most Outstanding Player for the second straight year, clinched the victory with an eight-yard touchdown scramble with 19 seconds to play.

retreat was a good experience, as usual. i got to meet a lot of new people, and as always, had a great experience being involved with the praise team. this year was very difficult though...i was sick the entire time, and it was tough to get up there and feel like i could adequately lead worship for hundreds of youth. but glory be to God, cuz i definitely couldn't have done anything this week at the retreat without God's strength.

thanks, pastor lee for the suggestions for our praise team...and for the website..i still want to learn the songs that you wanted to teach me. i'm always, always open to new songs...thanks.

still sick. in fact, i got home and went to sleep around 8.30 pm yesterday. i didn't get out of bed until 3.30 pm today. i was in bed for 19 hours. i sweated up a storm, much like i did during praise at the retreat. but yeah...i called in to work, and told them that i wasn't feeling too well. they told me not to worry about it. then i went back to sleep, and yeah...now i'm hungry and weak. oh well...

oh yeah, and let me know if you guys want the list of songs we played at the retreat...i think a couple people were interested...if not, that's cool too = Ãž
