GO ASTROS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Petitte pitches tomorrow and we're goin to the World Series....that's just it, no arguing or compromising!! And they're doing it because I say so

Ahh, I'm just a little frustrated right now. It's one in the morning and I'm wide awake, but I am so tired. I want to go to sleep, but I know that as soon as I close my eyes I'll start wracking my brain about stuff that will torment my sleep. But my eyes are about to close and I keep yawning. My mom is in the living room chair...asleep, and Shawshank Redemption is on tv. Boy am I a goner.

My dad took the captain's test yesterday. He doesn't know how he did. He was the first done with the Captain's test and the 2nd to finish out of the entire group taking other tests. All he has to do is pass the test with a 70 and then he's off to assessment.  One of his buddies at work said he's got that in the bag, just to worry about passing the test. I'm really happy for him. Too bad he didn't tell me. But whatchya gonna do?

This whole burglary thing has gotten me a little jumpy at night. I didn't really like my neighbors next door before, they always creeped me out, but now it's even worse. I just feel so vulnerable and violated. Some stranger walked in my room without me knowing it, touched my stuff and took off with it. Yes, the things that were taken are replaceable, but there's just that bubble that should never be broken.

Anyways, this is getting kind of long so I'm gonna head out. Choi bella. Hopefully I'll get to sleep some time tonight.

This weekend was pretty cool...I got to see Michael before he his surgery.  Saturday we went to the Air show at Ellington field.  It was a little boring.  I think once you've gone the first time, it's just not as fun afterwards. You can only see the same plane so many times. Anyways, that night we went to Salt Grass on Mike's $250 gift certificate from work. He and Michael both got 24 oz steaks. Yeah Caroline and I settled for the 7 oz. It was a lot of fun though.  The Stros were playing that night so we got to see some of the game while we were there.

Sunday I had to work. Drove back to Baytown Monday evening for Michael's surgery on Tuesday.  We sat in the hospital from 8 - 3:30. Ugh...what a long day. I was the babysitter yesterday.  He is a very clingy person. 

Worked last night,  it wasn't too bad. Until I got a call from Jacob in a panic. Come to find out some had broken into our house! Yep, they stole all of Jacob's electronic stuff. His playstation 2, laptop and all the stuff that went with that, his two gameboys, some games. Then they took my class ring from high school, my brand new official Astros jersey from my mom and my brand new digital camera that Michael gave me. The last two were given to me as birthday presents. Needless to say I was a little upset.  They also took the dvd player out of the living room and two bikes out of the garage.  We're not sure if they took the 5 boxes of clothes that we were donating from the front porch or if Purple Heart picked them up. Yeah sucked a little.

Okay, well enough for now, I have to go make some calls and send some emails.  Choi bella.

ROCK ON ASTROS!!!!!!!!!! We won 7-6...heard it was an awesome game.  Wish I coulda been there, but noooo I had to work. That's okay...money in the bank. Well actually money in my mama's bank. Anyways, I really don't feel like typing very much, so I'm gonna go now and chill from being on my feet. Choi bella.
