wrong city

So today I realized I am in the wrong city for everything.  Really, it comes down to two places: Columbia and Globe, Arizona.  See, I have more friends in Columbia than here.  (Which are all, naturally, through Maneeza, but they are very nifty people).  Globe... well, it seems that if I went to Globe I would be just about worshipped by everybody there.  So far, any time I talk to any guy from Globe for a couple days, it seems he becomes captured by my... uhh.. I have no idea, but apparently something.

Of course, I'm stuck here just because life sucks sometimes.  I mean... there's actually some guy who is interested in me at my school, yet he is quite creepy and I'm hoping he'll get the idea soon...  Oh well.   That's life.  I brought Maneeza two pans of brownies... between the five of us there were a total of two brownies from one of the pans left...  This took a day and a half.  We are pigs.  The brownies were good--a new variation of the specialty.

No.  You're not getting the recipe!  Family secret.  ^__^

screw the hearts

Uhmm... so yes, screw the hearts.  and the chocolate.  my v-day shall be spent several days late (the weekend, woo), and it shall be spent in Columbia with 'neeza.  Good stuff.  The story with all that kinda sucks, but what the fuck ever.

So long as Daniel Dahling hurries up and sends me my translated sound files, I'll be happy.  It's nice to have people think I'm ungadly brilliant for whatever reason.  I mean, it apparently made me a vocalist and the (main?) lyric writer for my band.  I even come up with the melodies for the lyrics to go with Daniel Dahling's simply amazing, astounding pieces.  I'm always just amazed to be working with this guy who, although he can't read sheet music, makes some pretty brilliant stuff.

And, even better, the other vocalist is Russell.  I get to sing with a guy who has a drop dead sexy gorgeous voice--when he sings and doesn't sing.  Well, once I get a solid melody worked out for us to sing anyway.  It's one hell of an experience involving lots of recording and cursing at mics.  I need to buy my own mic instead of stealing my father's. lol.

These aren’t like Grandpa’s Vinyl’s... yup... my band definitely isn't like his.  hehehe (thanks 'neeza)

*yawns*  so i went up to Columbia on Friday, got a ticket, and ate pizza from Gumby's.  (At Gumby's, I played a round of packman.  15,000 points as my first try; high score was 120,000 lol). saw a movie about a pakistani guy and a white girl; didn't like the ending.  Lynn and I spent the night at Maneeza's dorm (since she has no roommate for the moment).

Then on to St. Louis and Lisa.  Let me tell ya.. that was a fun day. The high light was defnitely the Royal Dumpe where we met Master Bates, a fool, King Henry the 8th, some wenches, and I lost a bra!  It wasn't actually mine though; I was dragged up on stage by Master Bates (yes, I did slide away from him when he mentioned he was "standing fully erect") and the fool had me help him out with a magic trick involving a couple of scarves... i held them, Bates and the fool pulled them..and poof, a bra appeared between them, which the fool last wore (first as "blind justice", then as a necklace... O.o).  Maneeza banged right off the table (with a wooden dowel we had to use in place of clapping).  So yeah, dirty comedy show.

I miss the weekend!

Yes, that is, in fact, my expression.

It turns out life is strange and unpredictable and that I really don't know all that much about myself, apparently.

In short, I am now part of a band--as a vocalist.  Now, I thought I had no singing voice whatsoever, but two members of this band asked me to join.  I think they're plain crazy, but I said sure anyway, I mean, they're both awesome with music.

Again,

Yeah, I'm reading mythology for class... I'm sorta behind, as usual.  Textbooks are boring until interesting teachers talk about them.
