I'm back from Texas! It was fun, but we were constantly doing something so that we could cram everything we wanted to do into 2 days! The drive up there was fun...probably because we didnt have to constantly be fearing for our lives from Mica's driving (she's not very good). When we got there we went out to eat with my cousins, who are divorced (awkward) and then went to my cousin Jeff's house and watched Will Ferell! Funny stuff!

The next morning we woke up and went to Six Flags! SO much fun! I love rollercoasters! I was a little scared to do the Superman (the one that shoots you up and drops you) Okay I was scared to death! Casey made me do it! It was so high! The ride last like one minute and I screamed the whole time! That's ok though because I got Casey back when she didn't wanna do Mr. Freeze (the coolest ride in the park). HAHA we are in the middle of the ride and casey turns to me and says "I f---ing hate you more than anything in the world right now" It was so funny!

Anyways, the next day we went shopping with my cousin Melissa and I got some cute stuff from Forever 21! Then we went to this really awesome church that my cousin Jeff goes to! It's like a jeans and t-shirt kinda church that plays really modern style of music. It was basically like being at a rock concert with a really good, christian message at the end. The church was huge too. They have 4 services each weekend and the auditorium seats like 2,000 people. I wish we had that church in Wichita, I loved it!

After that we went to the drive-in and saw Herbie, not my personal choice but it was the only thing playing! We had little kids with us so they enjoyed it. We got home at like 2 AM and then me and Casey laid in bed talking for like an hour. We were laughing so hard I thought I was gonna die!

The drive home was the scariest experience of my life! Mica decided to drive....I don't know who taught her to drive but I wantede to go demand a refund because they forgot to tell her that you are supposed to check your blindspot, don't cut people off or swerve around, and most importantly...you cannot text message with both hands while driving through traffic! She is the LUCKIEST bad driver in the world.

Well, that's all I got! It was fun, and now its time to get ready to go back to school! Classic College of Hair Design here I come...in 6 days!

So it's been awhile since my last entry and yet not much has changed. I AM getting ready to go on a slightly more exciting vacation then the last one. Mica, Casey, and I are about to pack up our bags for our first no parents road trip...however, it won't go completely unchaperoned, once we reach our destination we will be spending the weekend with my cousin who is about 35 or so, but he is really cool so it will be a lot of fun. Can't wait!

On another note, I finally ended my single slump and went out on what I suppose you can call a date yesterday. I joined Nolan (a guy I used to work with at the Roadhouse) and about 25 of his closest (and cutest) friends at the lake. We played beach volleyball and did some swimming. It's pretty nice when the guy to girl ratio is 25 to 4 and none of the guys have a shirt on lol! It was a lot of fun and I enjoyed hanging out with Nolan. Unfortunately, there was no magical, romantic spark (at least not on my part) but hey, don't be discouraged...theres always tomorrow! You never know when you are going to meet that one special person that you can't live without (p.s. I am taking applications)..haha just kidding.

Well, thats all I've got for today guys!

Just got home from the most boring vacation in the world! I know that it is better to focus on the positive side of things but I can not think of too many positive things about spending a week in Jefferson, Iowa....possibly the smallest town in the world. Ok, so maybe it isn't the smallest but I have never seen a town filled with so many old people. I think I was the only one there who didn't qualify for the senior citizens discount (haha).

I went so that my Grandma didn't have to make the drive alone, and we had fun along the way, but by the second day filled with talk of grandchildren and hip replacement surgery, I began to feel out of place. I did get a few very cute things for my future apartment, to add to my building collection, at some of the cute little shops they had. Also, we did find a neat little church to go to when we were there last Sunday.

See, I guess I did find some positive things about the vacation. I had a good time creating more memories with my grandma, and believe me there were a lot of them along the way. I didn't know my grandma knew so much about pop culture until we watched the MTV movie awards together.

Well, Mica just got home from the airport. She just got done running at nationals for the WSU track team...they were in Sacramento. She is the first freshman to ever attend nationals in the history of WSU.

Sooo...not to complain but wow life is really boring right now. My last two evenings have consisted of sitting on the couch collecting cellulite (lol). Sunday I leave to go on vacation with my grandma which will be fun except for the location. Jefferson, Iowa- population...about 200 people. How long am I going to be there you ask? one whole week. We are going to spend a day in a bigger town close by and go to all the shops, so that will be fun. I am kinda excited just because it's something to do.

Oh yeah, update- Megan's latest hair color: Black with plum (purpely red) and blonde highlights. It's really cute but there wasn't enough plum and blonde in there at first so I went back today and Bianca put a few more pieces in and now it looks really cool. I am starting to look the part of the Cosmetologist. Yay!

One month from Sunday until I start Cosmetology school!!!!! SOOO excited!!!

Just got home from lunch with some of my friends after graduation practice...I can't believe that in about 6 and a half hourse I will be a highschool graduate. It seems like just yesterday I was having my 8th grade graduation. Back then I thought it was going to take forever to get here but not it IS here and it seems like it flew by so fast. As much as I want to grow up and start a new chapter in my life it is really sad to say goodbye to this chapter.

I just know that tonight I am going to bawl like a baby because this morning I started crying when they paino player was practicing the pomp and circumstance. I won't be able to look at my mom tonight because she will make me cry. I guess it's ok because you wouldnt cry over it if it didnt mean something to you. These people that will be joining me in graduation tonight have touched my life in an amazing way (some more than others) and I am so blessed that I can share this with them.

Well, I am gonna go take a nap before Casey, Sam, and Bre come over to get ready for tonight! We have to have one more middleschool-esque girls night of primping before its all over HEHE!

Next time I write an entry I will offiially be a highschool GRADUATE!!!
