Well my truck broke down. Its a crazy story but basically on Monday I began helping a friend replace a power steering hose on his car. We were unable to finish because of time constraints. So I let him borrow my truck to use since I have my motorbike. He called me later that night to say that my truck won't start and the battery is dead. Me thinking it is only the battery or alternator went to go fix it. When I got there I soon realized it is more serious. The battery died because he was trying to crank it over and over. My truck being broke is not a huge deal but it is at someone else's house which makes it hard to work on.

It sure has been a while since I last posted. Well just to catch you up. I have gotten engaged and am moving back to Ruston to go on staff at Louisiana Tech with the Chi Alpha group there.

It is late so I better head to bed. if anyone is in the prayer mood or just bored feel free to send up a prayer for me. I am going through a lot and could use some direction from the Lord. Take care all and God bless.

So I am not a great bowler but I have had my games. One of those games occurred this past Tuesday. For our staff meeting the Chi Alpha staff went bowling as an end of the semester event. My first and third games were 97 and 114 respectfully. Those scores are my average since I usually bowl only a few times a year. But my second games was an amazing 185. It was a really good game and one of my all time highest scores. Here is the score sheet to prove it.

This is the last week of class, next week is finals and then Christmas break. I am excited. I have been spending a lot fo my free time working various odd jobs. This has been nice as I have been able to make some extra money to but it really drains me because I am not able to just take some time off. I am currently trying to use this day to work on my newsletter but I am not very motivated.

Tomorrow night is our annual skit night. Basically that means a lot of work al day tomorrow to set up and a lot of laughter tomorrow night as we watch students make fools of themselves.My small group is not doing a skit but I am very excited to see some others that I have heard about.

I am excited about tonight. Robbie is getting baptized at service. John Koeshell Jr. is speaking so it should be a sweet night. I am going to have a good weekend also. I am working at Darol's school tomorrow and at Mr. Taylor's auction house saturday. So that means more money saved up for my trip to florida in feburary to see the daytona 500. Which I am very excited about. Well thats all for now folks have a good one.

This past weekend my parents came over for a visit. They got here just after 9 on friday evening. After hanging out and talking for about an hour they went to bed. I woke up in the morning and they were gone. Come to find out they went to Wal-Mart to buy some stuff. once they returned with all their goodies my dad and I changed the brakes on the truck while my mom cleaned my house. All in all a good morning. We just spent the day together enjoying each other's company. Saturday evening we went to Mr. Taylor's auction. I was helping him out and my parents wanted to maybe buy some stuff. Well they ended up with a bed frame, a desk, a small book shelf, a chair, a large tin watering pot, and some tin thing that was made to hold coals. I'll just go ahead and say it they went auction crazy. They did have a lot of fun so that was nice. After that it was home and to bed. Sunday was church and lunch and then they left. I really love my parents and I am grateful for all they have done for me.

Well that was my weekend. I hope yours was close to as good.

Well I think I have my Toyota sold. I was putting it up for sale on tuesday and a guy drove by and stopped while I was still writing on the window. He said his friend was looking for a truck. He offered me 500 even though I am asking 750. To be honest I was hoping for more but I told hime to bring his friend over ot look at it. Well they came over last night and after looking at it and startgin it and checking everything out he said he could come up to 600. I told them I would get back with him friday and let him know. I am thinking that 600 is not a bad price to sell it at and I know it isn't in the best condition. We will just have to see how I feel tomorrow.

On another note small group is looking up as of yesterday. I had lunch with a guy that came to our contact table. I have been trying to get with him for about 2 weeks now but have been unable to find a good time to meet. Anyway I hung out with him for 2 hours yesterday. It was really awesome and he is really hungry to learn more about the Lord. Than as if that wasn't good enough I hung out with aother guy that I have been pursuing to get into my small group. And we hung out for about an hour and a half. So it ended up being a really fun day for me. and I feel that I accomplished a lot. Well thats all I have right now.
