| Alright guys I got a letter from jon today and he gave me a differant address than the one his mom gave me, I'm sure any letters you have already sent will get to him eventually but I wanted to make sure the 'real' one was on here:
Rct. Bartel, Jonathan A Special Training Co- (MRP) Box 15220 Parris Island SC, 29905-5220

| So I was thinking and I updated for Jon on myspace and a little on facebook but I didn't do anything for his xanga friends so I appologize for not putting his first address up here but now I have some more news:
This past weekend Mrs Bartel revieved a message on her answering machine from what appeared to be Jon's Platoon officer, but she wasn't able to make out the message or even a phone number. She emailed them asking what was up if they had called and whatnot, but she didn't hear anything untill early this morning when Jon called. He said that he was in the hospital with a broken leg and he wouldn't be graduating with his platoon in December. He was really upset and down when he called her. Jon's platoon officer called later that afternoon/evening and explained a little more, basically Jon would have to join another platoon in order to finish out his training and therefore wouldn't be graduating untill January, but he would however be recieving a medal of some kind in December so it would be as if he graduated with them but he wouldn't physically be able to gratuate.
Just keep Jon in your prayers I'm sure he is really upset about not being able to grauate on time with his platoon and having to stay out there even longer. Also remember his family and keep them all in your prayers. Rct Bartel, Jonathan A Support the Battalion Platoon MRP Special Training Camp Parris Island, SC 29905-1106
This is Jon's temporary address until he joins his other platoon. I'm sure he would love to hear from you guys; he could deffinatly use some cheering up!

| Dante's Prayer
Though we share this humble path alone,
How fragile is the heart.
Oh, give these clay feet wings to fly;
To touch the face of the stars.
Breathe life into this feeble heart.
Lift this mortal veil of fear.
Take these crumbled hopes, etched with tears.
We'll rise above these earthly cares.
Cast your eyes on the ocean.
Cast your soul to the sea.
When the dark night seems endless,
Please remember me.
Please remember me.
