  • It's April!!!!!

Wow, can you believe it? I will be Mrs. Stephanie Eberly in 17 days. Oh how the time has flown by and yet it seems like it is just draggin'. I have a list of things that I need to do before the wedding... the little details here and there. Man, why do things have to be so complicated. Well, they actually don't and I think that we just make them complicated for ourselves. Finances are tight and I ask that you would pray that God would continue to provide for Andy and I. We leave to go out west in 19 days and were pretty much already locked in for our Honeymoon, just about everything is taking care of accept for a few things, the hotel in Santa Monica, CA and the car rental. If we go on a few "day" excursions (Hoover Dam, Grand Canyon, etc...), we would pay for them as we went. Well I have to get back to wedding planning! Love to all and let me know how you are doing!

  • Wedding on the mind

Alright it has been so long since I updated my xanga, Sorry. So yes the wedding is on the mind, I don't think that a day passes that it isn't on the mind. It also seems like I do at least one thing forit everyday. Wow. I did take a one day break from it, That didn't stop me from thinking about it though. I have been keeping track of how much we spend on the wedding, excluding our rings, we have spent $1585.50. I feel pretty good about that because the majority of wedding is paid for. I just have to get a few more decorations, the marriage certificate, a few odds and ends and another big payment that we will be needing to make is for the food-the rehersal dinner and the reception. I feel that I will be staying under 3500 dollars. God has been blessing us and I ask that you will continue to keep us in your prayers as we have many other financial situations we need to be responsible for as well. For Instance... Andy and I found a house and we are pretty much sure we are going to get it as long as the inspection goes well. As long as that goes well, I will be moving in to my own home in less than a month... soon to be shared with Andy after marriage! God is so Good and we got this house $11,000 less than what it was going for and most of the closing cost are taking care of. God is soooooo Good!
Have a wonderful day everyone, hope to hear from you!

  • Awesome Week!!!!!

So this week has been flying by. Christmas Eve at Andy's house... Lots of fun with family. Christmas Day at my Aunt's house which is routine for me every Christmas, only this year didn't feel like Christmas. People grow up and change. Oh well, I look forward to spending Christmas' with Andy, whether we go to my Aunts or not. The Day after Christmas was Christmas with my mom, we had lunch with her and opened gifts. Then we headed to Port Huron to see my dad and have Christmas Dinner with him, my Brother Brian and Sister Jennifer. We also seen my aunt Jeannie and cousin Annie whom I haven't seen for 11 or 12 years. She has a 12 year old daughter who I saw when she was an infant and a 5 or 6 year old son who I never met before. It was fun seeing them. Wednesday was pretty relaxing I suppose, I went and spent time with MLE and we took a wrong turn on a road to go and get her dress for the wedding. That was a lot of fun. We spent time talking and then reading James. Thursday, Andy and I went to Mongolian Barbaque and then some shopping. We were just going to hang out at Barnes and Noble but it was too full. So we sat out in the car talking for awhile. He said that he doesn't like the crazy traffic. I don't blame him, I don't either. So sitting in the parking lot, there was a Starbucks in Barnes and Noble and a Starbucks in the little strip mall. He asked me if I wanted one... "No" I said, "We will be going to Outback Steakhouse soon." About 5-10 minutes later, "Can you split a Starbucks with me..." He just started laughing. I couldn't help it, we were in a parking lot with 2 different Starbucks and suddenly they sounded good, well it did the whole time, I was just trying to talk myself out of one. Outback Steakhouse was really good times for me and the friends from Colonial woods. It was nice to have dinner with everyone. Then Andy and I spent some time with my Flower Girl and her parents. Phrase I remember..."Willy Wonka, Willy Wonka..." The remake of Willy Wonka was on and Abby who is 4 years old could sing the whole song. Friday, I spent a lot of money, $317.00 for the decorations for the chapel and dining room. It actually came to $450.00, Thankfully, my wedding cordinator had a membership card. Saved me lots of money. Saturday, Made my bouquet and the bouquet that I toss. Woo Hooo! Later on, I went to Heidi's to help plan the Bridal Shower. FUN times. It seems like I got a lot done this week with the wedding planning. I am off to go and get ready for church.
