| Finished a super sweet staff conference with the upper SE staff. Scott rented a fantastic house in the country, near Carrolton, GA. David & Earlene were able to be with us and participated the entire time. They both are doing well and I think the fact that they are back home in Atlanta is helping them in the recovery process. David is slowly creeping back into minstry and wants to contribute to the cause. They truly are an amazing couple and the privilege has been mine, walking along side them through this trial.
January - March have been extremely busy, allot of fantastic ministry opportunities, God is good and we marvel at His grace in our lives. Thanks for praying for us, we appreciate it! Later...dvc

| off to a fresh startDon't you love new beginings, fresh starts.....I do! The opportunity to begin a new...thats the message of Jesus Christ. I am so thankful that God chose to give me a fresh start.....I never want to become complacent in that relationship I have with Him. This morning in Proverbs 3:7 I was reminded of a truth once again: Fear the Lord and turn away from evil, It will be healing to your body, and refreshment to your bones. I wrote in the margin of my bible "I cannot fill myself on provocative images or sinful story lines and please God. Turning from evil, refreshes my soul. I think of freshly fallen snow, untrampled, unspoiled..refreshment to my soul." Oh how I long for my soul to be healed and my bones to be refreshed. God is good and His word is clean. | | |

| God is in controlEsther 6:1-14
God is in control.
1. Sleepless nights. Psa. 72:4 "Thou hast held my eyelids open". The king could not sleep. 2. History - Mordecai's deed of passing on an intended threat on the kings life is recorded on the chronichels of the king, some 5 years ago. 3. Timing - mean while in the outer court, awaits Haman his turn to see the king and tell the king of his plans to do away with that stuborn Modecai. 4. Retribution - Haman's response, backfires and Haman eats crow as he parades his public enemy Mordecai in the king's robe on the king's horse.
God is in control and can be trusted. What a God we serve!
