off to a fresh start

Don't you love new beginings,  fresh starts.....I do!  The opportunity to begin a new...thats the message of Jesus Christ.  I am so thankful that God chose to give me a fresh start.....I never want to become complacent in that relationship I have with Him.

This morning in Proverbs 3:7 I was reminded of a truth once again:

Fear the Lord and turn away from evil,

It will be healing to your body,

and refreshment to your bones.

I wrote in the margin of my bible "I cannot fill myself on provocative images or sinful story lines and please God.  Turning from evil, refreshes my soul.  I think of freshly fallen snow, untrampled, unspoiled..refreshment to my soul."

Oh how I long for my soul to be healed and my bones to be refreshed.

God is good and His word is clean.
