All I can say is that my Eagles put up a pretty mean fight against the undefeated Pats on Sunday Night of Week 12.
A sure pick to be featured as a SNF game.
If only that TD that the Pats scored in the 2nd quarter didn't count...we could've won.

I'm pretty sure that that TD was out of bounds...and even to Mr. Madden's surprise, the upper room didn't suggest a challenge.
Plus it didn't help that Feeley threw 3 INTs, even though he was still pretty impressive.

I hate the Patriots!!!
But we put up a meaner game than the Skins did against the Pats...and of that I'm proud. :)

EAGLES ARE FINALLY UP!!!

TOUCHDOWN THAT GOT US UP TO 28. SECOND LEAD OVER THE PATS.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
I hope everyone enjoys their dark meat/white meat, ham (yuck),
cranberry sauce (yuck), mashed potatoes, corn, pies and all.
Eat up!

So I thought I would just list a couple of things I'm thankful for...
1) My family...honestly I have the best parents in the world.  And most of the time, an amazing brother.
My parents have an amazing understanding for everything that I do.  I'm extremely lucky...
2) AMG & The Favorites.
I love you guys, and you guys keep me sane.  I have the best friends in the world. Honestly.
Only 9 more months together. Let's rock it.
3) Being a Senior!
Thank God this is my last year...although I will really miss high school.  I'm excited for some COLLEGE!
4) TiVo
My report card would probably be slightly more impressive if I didn't have TiVo in my room.
But hey, you sacrifice for the things that you love, right?  Well, I love TV.  So...that's that.
5) JG

I love my youth group, and it keeps me accountable.
6) NFL
They give Sundays a whole new meaning.  From the 2nd week of February till September...
I am deprived of a golden three hours every Sunday.

I would like to give credit where credit is due.
On behalf of all iPod Touch owners...
Thank you Steve Jobs for creating this device that allows us to have the world in our palms.
In one touch, I can access

Google Map, Notes, my E-Mail, Games, YouTube, Music, Videos, Photos, Weather, and a very nifty Etch-n-Sketch.
I can watch my daily podcasts of NBC Nightly News w/ Brian Williams & Anderson Cooper 360 on my iTouch...it's very cool.  :)
My iTouch is a lot more enjoyable ever since I've been able to jailbreak it...I'm not gonna lie...it's sweet.

I just scrolled down my buddy list, and so many people's away messages say,
"HOME", or "NOVA" or something of that nature...
And it's scary knowing that exactly this time next year,
I will probably be declaring the same exact thing in MY away message...
Four years have gone by extremely fast, and I am m
ore than eager to go to college.
BUT the PROCESS is KILLING me.
I never get stressed out...that's a fact.  It will take a lot for something to consume my mind and make me worry...
But the college applying process hails victory over my once indestructable stress shield.
I feel like I hardly know what I'm doing,
And I have this strange feeling that al
l the components of my application won't get to my respective colleges...
I've come to the conclusion that I'm going to become a JMU Duke next fall...which is fine with me.
I know my last entry said that I was done with all my applications,
But I've been told to apply to a few more private schools by my college planning consultant,
So I've once again entered into the chaos of
Essays, submitting stuff into teachers/counselors, filling out apps & supplementals.
It's the biggest chore of my life, really.

Madison is trying to get Stephen Colbert to speak at our graduation ceremony.
Can I even begin to tell you how amazing that would be?!
Another potential is Barack Obama...but we'll just have to see about that.
Either way, if we can someho
w snag either of the two to speak at our grad...
There's yet another reason to look foward to graduation...
Like there isn't already enough to look forward to.

Mike Huckabee for President.
If Huckabee isn't on the Republican ticket for the General Election...
I'm afraid I'm going to have to vote Democratic (UNLESS IT'S HILLARY CLINTON).
But I guess I could vote Repub. if Mitt Romney wins the GOP ticket...
To my pleasant surprise, Huckabee is currently placing second in the GOP polls in Iowa, slightly trailing behind Romney.
It's good to know.  I got to register as a voter last week, and I'm so excited that I can vote in the primaries in February!
I'm SOOO glad I can vote just in time for the '08 election.  I love it.
If you don't take my word for it, watch him in the GOP Debate on November 28th.
Plus...Anderson Cooper is hosting it. <3 Yet an
other reason to watch... :)

Enough babbling.
Nobody even uses Xanga anymore...haha I'm a loser.
Okay, enjoy your break everyone.
Black Friday is underway in T-13 hours!!!
Stop, drop, and SHOP!
Take part in consumptuous America.
Help out our dry and helpless economy! (The Europeans are...!)

It's November...Thanksgiving is just around the corner.
What? This is insane...'07 is almost over.
Just 201 more days until school is over...and 212 more days until I'm COMPLETELY done with HS and I graduate!!!
Insane.

Senior year has been so strange...I feel like I'm a completely different person than even just three months ago before school started.
Thank God I was able to rise above my procrastination slump and was able to submit all my college applications in by the first week of November.  I am super relieved.  Now all I have to do is wait...
Early application decisions are so close…! I’ll hear by Christmas time…
Speaking of Christmas…There is almost nothing that I love more than the Holidays!
Peppermint hot chocolate + Christmas music + Jackets & sweaters + Uggs – Snow & Extreme Cold = Perfect Winter
At this rate, the likelihood of that subtraction of snow and cold in my equation of the perfect winter is lookin’ pretty good.

So I am obsessed with government and politics now.
Where did this come from...? Who knows...
Current events is my daily dose of goodness via NBC Nighty News with my LOVE, Brian Williams. <3

I enjoy watching Leno every night as well.  His comedic relief to the current events is fun to watch.  I love Jay.
Too bad writers strike is depriving my of my Leno goodness.  Stop protesting!!! Give me my Leno time back!!

So I’m pretty set on going into Journalism.  I’m excited to embark on this career path.
I’m not sure if I want to do magazine Journalism for like Time, or TV journalism....
Maybe I will be the next Brian Williams.  I’ll host NBC Nightly.  Except for that’s it’s really left winged…
But I still watch it everyday regardless of its political orientation.

Scavenger Hunt for Que's 18th Birthday
Double dee turned 18, so we went on a little escapade at midnight to venture out on a little hunt around Vienna and Fairfax...
I would like to think that it turned out as a success.  Good teamwork Joe.

Turkey Bowl…
Our guys & girls team rocked the tournament.  I’m so proud of all the players! : )
Especially our own Tom Brady, my b
rother David.  You should’ve seen me…I was like an embarrassing parent cheering for her son like a maniac.  Literally.  I’m embarrassed in retrospect.  PJ probably has video footage of me acting a fool.

picture of me & Champ Brady at the turkey bowl.
It was a fun day…watching football all day is ideal.  It was wonderful.
Speaking of football…

HOW ABOUT THEM EAGLES. YEAAHHHH!
Eagles victory over the Redskins was an EXCELLENT way to finish off a great weekend.
Our defense kept it pretty tight against the skins the last quarter of the game.
It was a fun game to watch because it was re
ally close throughout the entirety of the game…
Even in the last three minutes when we were up by 8 po
ints, the skins could’ve gone to score another TD + 2pt. conver…but our defense locked it up…sacked JCampbell and he fumbled, we recover and score.
It was GREAT.  I LOVE.

So I am going on a concert dry spell…Last concert I went to was Teddy Geiger/Kate Voegele in September
There are a couple of good concerts coming to the DC are
a, but the trouble is getting the tickets.
Bon Jovi is coming in February, but I think those tickets are close to selling out!  I can’t get a hold of them on ticketmaster…BOOO
Celine Dion is also coming to the Verizon Center in September of NEXT YEAR.  But I think that those tickets might only be on sale to people in her fan club…which sucks.  Maybe I will join just for those ti
ckets...Seeing her live is something I must do.
Backstreet Boys will be on tour in ’08…so I am DEFINITELY DEFINITELY DEFINITELY stoked for that, and am TOTALLY going.

I've realized in the past month that I...
I love playing tennis at night.
I also love to cook. Bruschetta is my new favorite food.

I love the favorites.
I have the greatest friends in the world.

And I will end with that.
Goodbye world.

I suggest that everyone go and see Across The Universe.
As a musical fanatic, I was pretty stoked after seeing the Oprah special on this movie.
The movie surpassed my already high expectations.
Moulin-Rouge-esque.  Not so much in the story line, but the tag line is, "All You Need is Love"
and Jim Sturgess' voice is strangely similar to Ewan McGregor's.
It's sort of an artsy movie, and usually I'm not so into those kinds of things (e.g. Eternal Sunshine...did not enjoy that movie AT ALL...will never understand the hype of that movie), but I was able to get past the fact that it was artsy because it was so damn good!

So much symbolism in the movie, which I like since I am such a nerd.
And I LOVE how all of the songs are Beatles' originals and the names of the characters are based off their songs (e.g. Jude, Prudence).
It's amazing that they produced an entire 2 hr 11 min story plot incorporating a soundtrack entirely of Beetles' tracks that contributed to telling the story.  It worked out wonderfully.
I am a huge Grease fan, and Grease will always be the best musical EVER in my book...but today, Across The Universe came dangerously close to stealing Grease's status.
It does help that the main character, Jude, is played by Jim Sturgess, who is animally attractive and is just so adorable when he sings!
Everyone GO AND SEE THIS MOVIE!....unless you hate musicals, but I'm pretty sure High School Musical has been able to convert even the hopeless.
