My good friend is making a live action short film. she asked me to help her with a promotional animated trailer.

The awesome guys over at sixty40 have branched off to do a side job of explanatory videos called ‘The Explainers’. I was asked to create an animation to show what the 2D animation style would be like. Here is what I came up with …

Way back in 2003 I worked on a great animated show called ‘Mucha Lucha’. It was created by two friends of mine, Eddie Mort and Lili Chin. The show was produced by Warner Bros in LA. I did some character design work as well as mouth charts and character turn arounds. There is a great blog posting some preproduction work

A while ago I helped with pitching for jobs at Red Ape where, among other things, I did these Aladdin inspired images;

I’ve also been working with my friends over at Mindful Things;

And I did some logo and t-shirt designs for JC Racing;

There is also my drawing classes held week days from my home in Wollongong (drop me a line if you are in the area and interested in booking in), otherwise, there is the Facebook group that you can join , upload images to and get feedback.

My pals at Eaton Gorge Theatre Company needed some illustrations for their school workshops. Here are some sketches;

A friend and I started up a group for creatives called appleTree a while ago. We meet one a month, share ideas, draw together, give advice and work on each others projects for free. We recently completed our first short film for a competition held by the people at Seasame Street;

I also done a few jobs for Sixty40 : L&P Optical, Sumo Fuso, Integral energy, Village Drive-in cinema as well as some animation for Sixty 40′s animation competition Proto Ninja and lip sync and eye animation for the 3D Wootonia (also here).

 After six months of advertising in a local paper, I got the chance to do an editorial. I’ve had heaps of feed back from this and the ads. With a bunch of new students.

Classes now run Mon -Thurs at 4pm, 5pm and 6pm. There are three students per class and each class costs $25.
