| | Pink stuff and blog whoringLast night my shirt exactly matched my pink streak. I tried to take a pic, maybe I can post one later.
I decided to sign up for a blog monetization thing. I'm going to try it out. It's called Pay Per Post. payperpost Why not, right? I have ads on some of my other blogs, but this one is for reviews and things, and I was reading another lady's blog that actually WAS NOT BORING, and yet, every post was sponsored by someone. When I signed up at the website, it showed she had made $20,000+ from her blog, through this program. I was pretty amazed. Maybe she has it spread over several blogs (like I would like to do), but, still. Not too shabby. That'd definitely be more than I make freelancing, honestly. So, I figure, this blog and Aspirations of Glory are good candidates, because they want lots of posts. You get to pick and choose what you write about, so I'm going to be rather selective.
I got hit up a couple of months ago by a company that wanted an ad on my allergyware.com blog, and they sent me the text, and it was unreadable garbage. I mean, it was CLOSE to English, but it wasn't. I sent them their money back. I told them I'd be happy to do the writing for them, but they said they would have a different "editor" send me the words to just copy and paste. I told them I didn't trust their "editors." Ridiculous.
The web is full enough already of spammy blogs and fake pages that are obviously only there to fill space so people can make google ad money. That's what this ad looked like. It was awful.
Anyway, my point is that this PPP program isn't like that. Hopefully it won't annoy you when I do it, but if it does--PLEASE let me know. You are more important to me than money.
