angry with rage

I get the feeling that FSU likes making all the paperwork involved with the MA as frustrating and difficult as possible. For instance, why not make it so that all the PDFs can be completed online, rather than making me print crap out, fill it in manually, and then fax it?

If my graduation date gets screwed up because of paperwork - I don't even want to go there.

Yeah, there's way to much paper chasing involved with the FSU MA graduation crap. I set aside a whole day to do it when I was doing it.

I gather from your posts that you really like Purdue--I'm really glad that it's working out. UF is good besides the political mess. I'll be teaching lit classes next year instead of ENC 1101/02, so I won't have to worry about that Writing Program crap after next semester.

Yes, all the paperwork is a bunch of crap that takes way too much time. I wish you all the luck.

RattleNHum - this is a great place for me, I'm still trying to sort out some first-semester-of-PhD issues, and I'm not thrilled with the syllabus I got stuck with for first-year comp, but for the most part it's fab. That's great that you can teach lit next year! Sorry about the whackiness with the politics and funding, if there's a silver lining it would be that you're gaining valuable experience points for your teaching career.

Thanks Lucy, I just discovered a new form that I didn't have B sign (ETD Access Agreement) - grumble - how I'll sign it, get him to sign it, and get it to the grad school is anyone's guess.
