A Prayer

In the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Lord, forgive me of my sins.  Purify me, and cleanse me from all unrighteousness.  Heal me, Lord, in mind, body, and spirit.  Do not turn Your face from me in anger, but look upon Your servant with Your grace and mercy.  Take away my fear, and give me Your peace.  Give me strength and wisdom, O Lord, to do Your will and withstand temptation.  Let Your will be done in my life.  Lead and guide me Lord, and keep Your protection upon me.

I thank You Lord, for all Your blessings.  I thank You for all the things You have done for me.  Blessed is Your Holy Name.  You are my Rock and my Salvation.  You who created heaven and earth; all glory, honor, and praise belong to You, the only true God.

Let me start off by clarifying myself.   I"m a recent convert (still a catechumen) to the Orthodox Church.  I was a protestant for most of my life, 20 years.  After doing much study, in theology, church history, greek, etc., I determined that the Orthodox church was the one true Church.  That's pretty much the short version.  No reason to post the long version, unless someone is that interested.  Anyway, if anyone is interested in more info, just let me know, and i'll be happy to supply it (although i don't think my life is that interesting :) ).
