Wow!!! 2 months since my last entry. SOOOOOO much has happened. Business is going GREAT!!! We are billing almost 300 hours now. It's unbelieveable. The girls are doing great. School seems to be agreeing with them. They have such wonderful young men in their lives. I am truly thankful!! New pics!! Be blessed! Val

Well, I'm never on here anymore. Seems like all I do is myspace anymore. So....for all you who haven't joined the myspace CRAZE.....I will post a little here. Oh by the way my myspace is www.myspace.com/powerofyourlove or www.myspace.com/valssong.

Things are going good. Jess finished up her first semester and while it could have been better, considering all that has happened in the last 3 months, she did pretty well. Emily is doing ok in school, but she could do better and I think she knows it. Time to buckle down!! Business is going GREAT. We are billing out about 200 hours a week and keep getting the calls in. We are about to hire 2 more people to be ready for the on-slaught we are expecting as children come in to visit their parents this Christmas. Seems as if we have to be ready ahead of time because we surely can't do it all spur of the moment.

Life for me personally is good right now. I'm at a place in my life that I'm learning to accept and grow with all the changes that are happening around me. I can't let little things stress me out anymore. I'm enjoying being a part of the music ministry at North Parkersburg Baptist and I've seen us grow in tremendous ways as we walk in His will. I just stand on His word that He will perform every word He's promised.

School's going good and life is CRAZY!!!!! I'm ready for things to settle into a steady hummmm instead of a constant race. Joined Curves last week. That's going well too. I just have to lose some weight. Life's good, and God is even more amazing every day.

I'm going back to school....on-line.....how weird is that????? It's time and I really feel excited about it. I'm just glad I don't have to show up in a class everyday. It'll be something to get used to....being an on-line student that is. Have a great week everybody!!!

Well, it's been a full "school week" since the new changes. Things are going pretty well. Emily seems to enjoy her new school year so far and Jessica is beginning to settle into her routine at Marietta. She's stressing a little because she's behind, but she'll catch up in the next few days. She will be going to the Coal Bowl tomorrow with Jeff and his dad. I know she'll be glad to see Jeff. That has been the biggest adjustment this week....not seeing him.

We got our first long term client with significant hours this week. We are scrambling trying to fill the positions, but I know that God will help us. I know He brought them to us, so....I know He will provide the right workers for the job.

Our house in Louisiana sold this week also.....Talk about a jackpot! I think we hit it this week!

Well, have to run. I'm on "company" time!! haha. Have a blessed weekend and holiday!

How quickly things change!!!!! I'm amazed still but it'll be ok.

Went to Huntington tonight. Jess transferred back to Marietta College today. It's been a LONG LONG day. So now....she's back home. Things are good and all is right with the world again. Maybe now, there can be peace in her life and in our home. I thank God for that!

I really guess I should update.... So here goes.....

It's been a rough weekend. Many changes around here. Friday morning we took Jessica to Marshall for the start of the semester. When we arrived, we were met by all these college students who helped us unload her stuff. Instead of it taking us an hour, it only took us about 20 minutes. We helped her set her room up some, but it was boiling hot in there....NO AIR. So...you guessed it.....we were off the Walmart for more fans. She was not happy at all about the heat in her room and it was very, very hot...about 90. Anyway...then we went to supper and took her, Emily and Jeff back to the dorms. Em spent the night with her and Rob and I stayed in a hotel. Saturday, it was more last minute shopping stuff and then we left for home.

You know.....I was pretty much ok until I went in her room yesterday evening to strip the sheets so I could wash them. I just sat down on the bed and lost it. It's very hard knowing she's not sleeping in there and knowing I'm not waiting up on her at night. For 3 1/2 years we've shared each other's days in the evenings and talked about all kinds of things from life in general, to boys, to dreams.....and it's a very empty feeling now. Rob teared up this morning when he got in the shower. It's probably because he had hot water for the first time since we moved here!!!

Anyway....life goes on. She's having to adjust too. It's not easy for any of us. We are a very close family. I just hope that this experience will bring us all closer and help us appreciate one another more. She's taken the first step into her future. I hope she knows that she's held up by prayers every day.
