So Cooooool...

Ganking yet another bit of coolness from waxy.org.  It's animated Wiki-evolution!!!

You're like, huh?  What are you talking about?

Okay, first for those not in the know, this is concerning wikipedia.org.  The biggest and most badass online encyclopedia on the net.

The thing that makes wikipedia so cool is that it's open source, and so ANYONE can update, add to, change, or delete stuff from the articles in the database.  So if you see an entry on Transformers and they left your favorite Decepticon, Soundwave for instance, you just go into the entry and add it yourself.

So obviously with a setup like this, Wikipedia entries are constantly in a state of flux.  They're being changed constantly on the fly.  The entry you read on kung fu could look completely different after you go back to it again just 5 minutes later.

With all this constant revising, editing, and adding, Andy Baio of waxy.org put up a challenge for uber geeks to create a program that would allow someone to watch an animated slide show of the changes to a Wikipedia entry.

And thus the ubergeeks responded.  Click here to see a little screen-cast of the winning program in action, along with some great voice over commentary by the program's designer.

The House of Cosby's...

Found this waxy.org.  Yes, it's the original web-cartoon series "The House of Cosbys."

What can I say other than you have GOT to see this!  If you grew up on Cosby in the 80's this series will revitalize your life!

Quickie Sketch...

Found some cool hair styles in this magazines, so I figure I'd draw up a sketch of the hair and put it on some randomn face.  Festival's getting close and I will soon have more time to draw once it's over!  So look for more sketches, and I've actually started the script for my comic/short story.

Critiques and comments welcome!

New Project!

(click on images to see full size version)

I have just started working on a one-shot comic, and began doing character designs.  Here are the roughs, I'm sure the characters will change even more by the time I get to putting up the pages.  As always, critiques and comments are welcome!
