This visage, no mere veneer of vanity, is it vestige of the vox populi, now vacant, vanished, as the once vital voice of the verisimilitude now venerates what they once vilified. However, this valorous visitation of a by-gone vexation, stands vivified, and has vowed to vanquish these venal and virulent vermin vanguarding vice and vouchsafing the violently vicious and voracious violation of volition. The only verdict is vengeance; a vendetta, held as a votive, not in vain, for the value and veracity of such shall one day vindicate the vigilant and the virtuous. Verily, this vichyssoise of verbiage veers most verbose vis-à-vis an introduction, and so it is my very good honor to meet you and you may call me V.

::Edit::
For a child idol, Peter's zanga was a little gloomy. So the white is better.
also, a new picture was quite necessary...and check it out.
what a stud.
::end edit::

Okay, so, if you didn't already hear ...

I GOT PETER PAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm really excited!

Anyways, Brian just e-mailed the rehearsal schedules to everyone.  Apparently, I won't be having a life during rehearsals.  I never have a break! 6:30 to 10 every night!  AHH!  I'm still excited though.

Oh, I just took the European History AP exam on Friday!  (insert death sounds hear).  It took four hours for everyone to get through it and my neck was spasming from writing so much on the essays.  AHH!

Schools almost out.  That's exciting.  (I guess).  That means no more seniors.  That's really sad.  I have had strong connections with about 5 or 6 of the seniors at our school and am good friends with about 10 more.  It's going to be really hard this year.  Monday is the choir banquet and Saturday is the thespian banquet.  I know that I'm going to be crying at both.

MAURA PEGG GOT A BLUESTAR NOMINATION FOR BEST ACTRESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  That makes me so happy.  Of course, I love the other nominees (Jessica Smith ... Courtney Halford ...) but I was really excited to hear this wonderful bit of wonderful news. Wonderful!

Spotlight is next week for anyone that's interested.  It's our choirs spring show filled with songs that we chose, flashy lights, and Ann McCrosky choreography.  You have to come!  May 18 and 19 at 7:00 at Shawnee Mission West.  Come early, seats sell quickly.

Well, I guess that's all I have to say.  I know, it's sad that this is the first time that I have actually updated in almost three months (or something) and I don't really have much to say.  Oh well, I guess I made you excited when you saw that I updated. (ten points if you understood that)  Signing off.

Eric is Peter Pan. I thought you all should know that. I am exceptionally proud of him.

:end edit:

Katie says; "First off, 'I wanna move stuff w/ my mind more than ANY of you!' Yeah yeah, ok so uhh.....Eric is a loser....and God hates losers. However, this is irrelevent....'cause aliens created all of us. Well, that's basically it....oh yeah, and Ian McKinly s a beast.....and Eric is  not....cause he's the neighbor kid.PEACE OUT!!!"

Anna says, "it was fun pretending to make out with you in molly's van!!! and to take this picture......but i think that next time we play truth or dare you might need to actually wear underwear cause it would help...a lot!!! probably...i am sorry that i hurt your hand on the way to the roller coaster...but it was fun being your 5 minute girl friend and fighting with molly ham over you to bad she won...."

Molly says, "a lot of 'stuff' can happen in three days. liiiiike...
Eric and I played Stip Poker, and Eric lost. Bad.=)
Eric taught me david and katie to "do the eric" which is a very exciting dance move.
Me and Molly beat Eric in chicken.
We played strip poker again, but with Molly W..and we were better prepared.=)
Me and Eric had a skittle eating contest and Eric lost..bad.=)

Eric sang "the lullaby of Broadway" in a random store where he "liked the acoustics."
Me, David, and Eric got aqua-massages and then ate amazing chocolate.
Me and Eric were a one minute couple with a sad 20 second break-up.
I had to purchase all of Eric's meals. He's an expensive date.
I found out i was actually smart, thanks to Eric.
David, Eric, and I danced our way into Minnesota.
We found out about our birthdays, and how to be pragmatic.
We quoted Friends together.
We all embarassed Eric in front of cute waitresses that were out of his league.
Everyone taught me how to play ten fingers//I have Never.
I'm unattractive, and Eric's "entire body is like god."
  The End."

Molly (the other one) says, "The Mall of America trip...wow. It was interesting. One day of the trip, we went to the pool. Eric and I tryed new ballet lifts. They were interesting. Then we lost chicken. We lost more that once. We also played 10 fingers/ I have never. Eric lied. We played truth or dare and I learned things about Eric that I could have guessed but never needed to hear out loud. We played stip poker and I had a close call. Note the above paragraph. I suck at poker more than Eric, which really is saying something. This was the 2nd time Eric played. So, the moral of the story...there isn't one. But I think that BUGGA might be appropriate."

David says, "hmm. The Mall of 'frickin america'. Molly Hammond said it well with 'the mall of America much like the country in which it is named after, is unneccesarily big and has a lot of fast food.' The only thing i have to say about Eric, and my trip with him, is that Jesus loves Pie. Pie Jesus. Pie Jesu. Whatever. "

Thank you Anna!  I love when people say good things about me (who doesn't).  You may update for me anytime! (as long as you say that it is you updating) (if you just read that and have no idea what I am talking about, read the January 28th entry)

I finally decided today that I really do like the Baker shows.  I had to think for a while, but they both really are great shows.  Godspell is one that I don't know very well, but the one time I did see it (Chestnut Theatre) I loved it.  I love Schwartz, too.  Joseph... was never one of my favorite shows, but I began to think how much fun it would be. Wow!

Guess what? The SMW Madrigals choir has a strong chance of singing at Carnegie Hall in November! Our director, Laura VanLeeuwen, has already okayed it and is sending the proposal into administration.  We should know in about three days if we are going or not.  I'm so excited!

Again, my schedul is horendously crazy.  I finally wrote my second semester calendar last night.  I have a huge dry-erase calendar that I hang on my wall to keep my schedule straight.  Counting, I have exactly fifty-three appointments over an hour long in February alone! I don't know how I manage.  To top it off, I am enrolling in 5 AP classes next year.  I tried not to and realized I had no choice.  I'm even taking 2 math classes!

I had an epiphany today.  I began to think about being trapped in the elevator at Baker. We had to write a personal narrative in English today, and I wrote mine about this incident.  Here is the last paragraph:

The day went on, and the show opened smoothly.  It was a wonderful show.  I was so caught up in the moment that I almost completely forgot about the elevator for the rest of the weekend.

A few days later Ryan sent an e-mail of the elevator opening and me waving out from about five feet down.  It is a rather funny picture of my rescue.  In fact, it is one of my favorites of me.  I’ll never forget what it’s like to be trapped.  My entrapment was temporary – a mere fifteen minutes – but it gave me insight to what it is like to have no control over your life.  The elevator had actually fallen.  The jolt I had felt was the emergency brakes trying to break the fall.  The fact that I jolted many times shows that the emergency brakes were actually failing.  Had I fallen a few seconds more I would have suffered serious injury and may have died.  I don’t prefer to look at it that way, though.  I learned a valuable lesson.  I learned that even though I had no control over my fate, I kept on smiling.  Everybody was trying to calm me down when in fact I ended up calming them down.  By keeping a cool head, I avoided being stuck for much longer.  They say not to panic in emergency situations.  I believe that one should try to remain positive during emergency situations.  In fact, I believe that one should try to remain positive during their entire life.  By staying positive, people work through their problems without conflict.  They find the true nature of their situations and work them out with calmness in their head and a joke in their heart.  That is how to ride the elevator of life.
