| Camp 2008I can't believe the summer is already half over! Where did it go? I have been at camp now for about 10 weeks even though camp has only been happening for the better part of 4 weeks, and this past week was Special Needs week and ryan went. He loved it he had an awesome time. The whole staff and other campers loved him and at the dance he was the center of attention; wonder where he gets that from? :) Well, I'm anxious and I think I know why, and I'm wondering what I should do about it.
PS, Nikki I was thinking of coming up to the city for my birthday this year. what do you think?
I am enjoying being riverside co-ordinator, it's so much different compared with maintenance but I love the challenges, plus I get to ride my bike places. which may or may not be a good thing.

| This update is for Nikki!
The semester is drawing to a close and I'm pretty busy, I'm actually procrastinating a research paper on the disadvantages of lowering the drinking age.
I went bowling tonite, and it was the second to last week and we have to bowl again next week to see who wins!
I know Justin winning something???!!!
I'm going to camp tomorrow and sunday for open houses; (to give tours and annoy mainly) Sunday I'm giving the sermon at church then flying (driving fast) down to camp for more tours.
Monday is my gov. class I only have to show up and turn this paper in.
Tuesday is my spanish final, I have a 6 para. paper to do about myself in spanish, wow really hard???!! naatttt.
Wednesday is psych. with a final and group presentation, so a pretty easy week, I start working with buddy at camp in two weeks.
I did a dinner last saturday for camp and got to give a testimony about it, it was really enjoyable and they recruited me for the dinner in dover in october.

| I'm in the Outer Banksss!
The weather is lovely, it's like 70 and sunny, there's a slight breeze coming from the south west, but we'll take it.
I think I think I got a little tan down here, I mean after you sit out for 4 hours in the middle of the day; one can only hope.
I had a social issue and public policy mid-term to do; yeah I know what a vacation. But it wasn't hard and it only took an hour or so, it was actually nice to write down all my opinions on issues like the death penalty, the tax system, and legalizing drugs ( I know, I know)
I may put some more pictures up but we'll see. sikeee I will: sike I won't, I left my camera cable at home.
So work at Penney's isn't bad; I mean it's not my favorite, but it's been nice to get a pay-check and have something other than school (and church) to do and to keep me focused.
This is the first time in a LOOOONG time I feel like I deserved/needed a vacation. It's been nice as well.
Well, when I get home I'll put my camera cable in and I'll upload these picssss.

| Good Golly Miss Molly.
So, I'm officially starting block two of this semester and I'm taking a government and social issues class and I'm not sure if I like it yet, with all the topics we talk about, everyone takes the opposite view point as me. I like to think I'm open-minded enough to learn a lot. But it's really hard when a guy says that the smoking ban in public buildings is impeding on the rights of smokers and that as well as drunk driving laws should be repealed. That's an interesting approach to anything. I say I don't like it, but I'll probably end up loving it.
I have been at Penney's now for 3 weeks I think; and I'm getting the hang of it. I really like it actually, it's got a maintenance aspect in that I have to break down the pallets and unload everything and then the other side is organizing the shosies by sub, lot, size color and brand, which I love trying to make everything fit, I'm really weird with that kind of stuff.
Life at home is refreshing; so was getting a paycheck again. haha. An old family friend Jeanie asked me to bowl on her team on Friday nights now; so I have more to do. I mean between church and bowling my schedule is pretty much full up. Which is okay I enjoy being busy.

| So I'm done my first week of work at Penney's and I'm madly in love with my job; well not madly in love but I like it a lot, I know I'll get sick of it, but for now it'll do. School is going well I start second block next week so that means that the semester is already half over, which is refreshing it's gone so fast.
