Things are starting to settle in around here. Life is going on, and work has started. The rainy season is over, and the temperature is starting to climb. Im finding it fun now to get up and run a couple miles, while watching the sun come up over the hillside the small city of Tel Afar is set on.

       Its cool to think that the cities I look at now are the same that were here thousands of years ago. In Tel Afar theres a castle that pre dates Roman rule by a few hundred years. Were told as long as the city has been here there was a fortification where this castle sits.

Well were here in country. For the next year or so I will be living here in Iraq on the Serian border.

 This place is actually pretty sweet though. I have a trailor that I share with 2 other guys, a little network of shops to buy stuff from, and the food here is better then some restuarants that i've paid to eat at. It would be perfect if my princess could be here.

Lets see...I'll be back in the states in 2 weeks. Thats cool. Shortly after I'll be back in Iraq. Not so cool.

Finally went to the Nurburgring. It was so cool. I mean the way it was covered in snow, and ice. And even cooler was the way they wouldn't let me on it, even after I showed them my friends Washington and Lincoln. Sigh. We still got to ride go carts though. I ran some little kid off the track. His mom looked a little ummmm..... upset. We have some video, just ask to see it when im home.

The girl and I are getting a new car. Well not really the girl and I, just the girl. But it will be in my name, but not mine.... I hope you followed that.

Its cool though, its the all new Scion XA. Were getting it in flint mica which is like a gunmetal color. Im a fan, but like I said its not mine. I'll get my car once I return from the big beach.

Tonight was cool. We went down to the Christmas market. Its one of those German things, its really awesome though.

Its where a bunch of drunks get together and serve hot wine, sing Christmas songs, and sell Christmas goods. Jolly good.
