I got this from annika. she got it from someone else. all i know is that i like the part about me being a rockstar.

Wackiness: 104/100
Rationality: 86/100
Constructiveness: 124/100
Leadership: 60/100

You are a WRCL--Wacky Rational Constructive Leader. This makes you a golden god. People gravitate to you, and you make them feel good. You are smart, charismatic, and interesting. You may be too sensitive to others reactions, especially criticism. Your self-opinion and mood depends greatly on those around you.

You think fast and have a smart mouth, is a hoot to your friends and razorwire to your enemies. You hold a grudge like a brass ring. You crackle.

Although you have a leader's personality, you often choose not to lead, as leaders stray too far from their audience. You probably weren't very popular in high school--the joke's on them!

You may be a rock star.

So...Megan, Christina, Katie, and I all went to the Basillica Block Party to see the Pat McGee Band on Saturday night...Megan and I have been obsessed with Pat McGee since about the 9th grade and we were all hardcore about being up front in his concert.  So we were.  Next to the very front rail that is, in the very fron row.  He jumped into the audience and was standing literally 2 feet from us and then after the show...WE MET HIM!! and we talked for like 15 minutes and he told us he had seen us while he was playing and stuff and he was so nice and it was soooo cool!!!!!!!

I know its been really long since I have updated...BUT contrary to popular belief...I do have a life, and its been quite busy.

Summer is going really well...I have been really busy lifeguarding, which has turned out to be a great job.

Kristin and I drove to Tennessee together to see Bonnaroo, it was awesome!!!!!!!! We had such a good time together and I am soooo glad we went. We saw SO MANY bands and artists, it was amazing!!!!

Other than that, I went up to Scott's cabin once and have gone to Rochester a few times, he stayed up here painting my house for awhile also.  Everything is going so well with that...definately different from any relationship I have had before, but I am really really happy about everything in it and having that makes me happy about everything else as well.  Some of my friends seem to be kind of stuck on relationships from high school...im so glad im not one of them.  I  couldnt ask for anything better than what I have.

I am really quite happy with everything in my life right now, except that we had to put my cat, Mitzi, to sleep the other day, that was really sad.  But i have had a revelation...I think I have found my calling in life which is turning out to NOT be a high school art teacher but instead to be a vet.  Im looking at vet schools and thinking about volunteering at the animal hospital or something over Christmas next year to try it on for size.

Tomorrow is the 4th of July...I have to work...sucky, but then I get to go to Rochester and meet all of Scott's friends and watch the fireworks with them all and partaaaay it up...im excited! Today, the 3rd, a bunch of my friends all went out to Megans house on the lake...it was a good time for sure, despite the rain, but we did not let that get us down...i have funny friends.

ok with that done, i will now tell anyone who actually reads this what has really been on my mind lately. i am so fed up with people who pretend not to like certain music just because it is "popular." i mean who the heck cares if everyone knows all the words to a song that you happen to like...i know its hard to believe, but alot of popular music is popular because IT IS GOOD and there is nothing wrong with everyone knowing it or it being played on the radio. i mean i used to think that it was impossible for someone to like popular  music and also love super obscure bands, but now i have more respect for the people who admit to what they really like than i do for the people who are constantly looking for that oh so different band that no one else knows about. i mean how dumb is that.  i really love music alot and its a big part of me, but im not afraid to say that i like a song that every other 19 year old girl likes also. i used to be bitter about it when someone tried to tell me that they liked the new britney spears song but they really loved phish...but now i realized that it is entirely possible to love ALL kinds of music and that its very tiring to be bitter about everything.  i dont want to get up on my high horse..but i know that i know alot of music and alot about music and i fully appreciate and respect the arts, but contrary to popular belief...some pop music IS good and some standard boy with shaggy hair playing the guitar and singing just like every other shaggy haired boy with a guitar CAN also be good, and usually IS good.  It has been said that music can define a person but honestly, the only thing that can define you IS YOU. ok, done.

...today...is...MY BIRTHDAY!!...19, eek. its been a good day so far...i woke up feeling very loved because of all the happy birthday messages that were left on my computer. i got a cake today from my school...and my parents, so thats going to be very appreciated later.  i also got a luther college frisbee...well it was actually given to Kashar, but she gave it to me. at lunch kari and julia covered a brownie with whipped cream and stuck a fry in it (like a candle) and brought it to me and sang happy birthday. it was a happy moment. i was thinking about birthdays and what i have done in the past for them...last year it was the ap lit test, FUN! then before that it was something special at church i think we went to the holmbergs house, but i dont really remember. the year before that i was kidnapped at brought to a surprise party at matts house. the year before that i was in washington dc. i dont remember years beyond that, well i do but i dont feel like taking the effort to think about them. anyways...PLANS for my birthday this year.....well..scott is going to take me out for dinner. then we will come back here and in the company of my good friends, will eat cake and watch the oc season finale. i guess we will see what goes down after that.

yesterday was fun, scott and i went for a drive and discovered sooo many things i never knew exsisted in decorah. including another chinese restaruant, who knew?! he let me drive his truck and tried to show me how to drive a manuel transmission...i think i did alright, seeing as it was my first time and all.  he said i did better than some of his guy friends when they try, except for when i made the wheels screach, but it was kind of funny cause this old guy was outside and he was like "my kids did the same thing!"

maybe i will go play with my new frisbee outside now.
