| A Right Directional Life (Notes for:)
The Bloody Battle Won
To say, I guess, is simple;
What I've been through in life is more than I could bear.
That is why I had my Savior there.
To keep Him close to me and me to Him.
At times the room was dim,
And dark clouds rode the wind,
But inside my heart was shining,
Though my patience running thin.
He kept me on top the rock I stood.
Beneath my feet was solid.
The waves and storm raging below and all around,
But on the solid ground I stood with all my armor bound.
The darkest beasts into my eyes were gazing
With their fiery eyes a' blazing.
I found them beneath my feet
With my gleaming sword
Piercing through their altogether wicked hearts.
At that moment I knew
I was set apart for a greater plan to do;
To give my life despite myself,
As my Savior made me new.
A new man, I am called, a child of God.
By a spirit of fear and depression I was mauled,
With my back against a wall,
But I beat him to a bloody pulp
With the word of God.
"It's not how many times you fall," one said,
"But how many times you get up instead."

The day was long and hard,

Something partly obvious:
I
do have to clarify that it is important to make as few mistakes as
possible and to avoid making big mistakes, but if you've never made a
mistake it most likely means you have never tried at anything.
I thrive on change, but not just any change, positive change.
Christ is the standard for all mankind, this standard is not attained, it is reached for, and it is only in the reaching that we grow.
1 Corinthians 12
27Now you [collectively]
are Christ's body and [individually] you are members of it, each part
severally and distinct [each with his own place and function]. 28So God has appointed some in the church [[f]for
His own use]: first apostles (special messengers); second prophets
(inspired preachers and expounders); third teachers; then
wonder-workers; then those with ability to heal the sick; helpers;
administrators; [speakers in] different (unknown) tongues. 29Are
all apostles (special messengers)? Are all prophets (inspired
interpreters of the will and purposes of God)? Are all teachers? Do all
have the power of performing miracles? 30Do all possess extraordinary powers of healing? Do all speak with tongues? Do all interpret? 31But
earnestly desire and zealously cultivate the greatest and best gifts
and graces (the higher gifts and the choicest graces). And yet I will
show you a still more excellent way [one that is better by far and the
highest of them all--love].
Christ led a perfect life of perfect love.
Christ had a positive snow ball effect of making the right decision every time.
The enemy might try to sneak his foot in the door with what appears to be innocent.
Sin can be progressive like a negative snow ball effect.
Let satan have no place in your life (heart).
The more you resist temptation the easier it is to resist tempation.
If practice makes perfect, then be careful what you practice.
Don’t underestimate the weight of any one decision. Be obedient. One sin could lead to an unchangeable lifetime of pain and an eternity in hell.
Grow in favor with God and man. (Prov. 3)
The Father loves to watch you grow.
You can't steer a ship that's not moving. Proverbs 16
If you've never made a mistake, it most likely means you've never tried at anything.
Correction is direction.
Feed back is the breakfast of champions.
Phil. 3:12-14
Be decisive in a positive direction.
"In life don't be afraid to change direction." Not that anyone should turn away from God by any means. I was walking home from the library one day after reading this quote. I was set upon my destination, yet I turned aside alond the way and went well out of my way to reach out to someone.
Proverbs 16 Make plans, Seek God's counsel and seek godly counsel.
Learn when to and when not to take chances. Count the cost. Luke 14:28 For which of you, intending to build a tower, does not sit down first and count the cost, whether he has enough to finish it;29 lest, after he has laid the foundation, and is not able to finish, all who see it begin to mock him, 30 saying, This man began to build and was not able to finish 31 Or what king, going to make war against another king, does not sit down first and consider whether he is able with ten thousand to meet him who comes against him with twenty thousand? 32 Or else, while the other is still a great way off, he sends a delegation and asks conditions of peace. Psm 127:1 Unless the LORD builds the house, They labor in vain who build it; Unless the LORD guards the city, The watchman stays awake in vain.
When making any decision, look for guaranties.
Change, baby, change!/The measure of success. (Truely, truely growing in intimacy with God is the essence of success in life.)
If you're not growing, you're backsliding.
Change is inevitable! If you resist all positive change, negative change is inevitable.
Seek out positive change. Be lead by the Spirit of the living God.
Better yourself and others. Position yourself for success. Ask God to position you for success.
Maximize the moment! Make the most of your time!
Inbetween desire and delight is discipline.
Purpose to never again be a negative statistic in Jesus name.
minimize mistakes. maximize and multiply successes
Proverbs 16
1THE PLANS of the mind and orderly thinking belong to man, but from the Lord comes the [wise] answer of the tongue.
2All the ways of a man are pure in his own eyes, but the Lord weighs the spirits (the thoughts and intents of the heart).
3Roll your works upon the Lord [commit and trust them wholly to Him; He will cause your thoughts to become agreeable to His will, and] so shall your plans be established and succeed.
9A man's mind plans his way, but the Lord directs his steps and makes them sure.
Psalm 37:23
23The steps of a [good] man are directed and established by the Lord when He delights in his way [and He busies Himself with his every step].

24Man's steps are ordered by the Lord. How then can a man understand his way?

23O Lord [pleads Jeremiah in the name of the people], I know that [the determination of] the way of a man is not in himself; it is not in man [even in a strong man or in a man at his best] to direct his [own] steps.

8This Book of the Law shall not depart out of your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, that you may observe and do according to all that is written in it. For then you shall make your way prosperous, and then you shall deal wisely and have good [a]success.

2But his delight and desire are in the law of the Lord, and on His law (the precepts, the instructions, the teachings of God) he habitually meditates (ponders and studies) by day and by night.(A)

Revelation 21:8
Don’t see what you can get away with, but instead see how close to God and intimate with God you can become. Bounderies give freedom. Don’t kick against the godes. Stay within the pleasant boundaries God has given us. 1 John 5 “and His commandments are
not burdensome.”
Someone who is born of God does not sin.
A Christian is headed in the right direction and might stumble along the way. A lost soul his headed in the wrong direction and might do good deed that are for him or her only dead works.
Work out your salvation with fear and trembling. / He who began a good work in you is faithful to compete it, but you have to let Him complete it by yielding to His hands. He is the potter we are the clay, so we must work out our salvations with fear and trembling and trust and obey. Salvation is not a one-night stand or a free ride.
Hebrews 10:25-27
25 not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.
The Just Live by Faith
26 For if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, 27 but a certain fearful expectation of judgment, and fiery indignation which will devour the adversaries.
