I hate long gaps, especially gaps that last for 6 freaking hours.  So, I decided to go to my research meeting today after skipping it for the past 3 weeks.  Too much drama, midterms, and work lately so, no time.   Now, let's do a recap of what I accomplish for the last 6 hours.  Basically, I did nothing.  After I got out of mcb 130 lecture, I went to grab lunch with mel, harry, and mimi at the north side asian ghetto food court.  Afterwards, I went with mimi to wheeler and all I did was watch music videos and talk show clips on youtube for 4 long ass hours.  Mimi left for work at 3 but I stayed till 5pm until they kicked me out cuz the computing center was closing.  With nowhere to go, I decided to go to OCF and spend some more time on the computer.  How nice???!! NOT!!!
Gosh, I'm going insane sitting in front of a computer for 5 hours at berkeley.  I'm not gonna do this anymore so I've decided to ditch the meeting next week again!

I'm suppose to be studying for my physio midterm on tuesday but I need a break from studying so I figure why not update xanga.  Past week was like hell for me--I had the stomach flu so I was vomiting and suffering from diarrhea.  I thought I was gonna die but I'm feeling much better now since I ditch school for two consecutive days.  On top of that, school work have been piling up lately, it's midterm season and I have lab reports, papers, and quizzes due at the same time.  This weekend was the Chinese community fair @ Chinatown so I decided to volunteer for the ALC again.  I love outreach even though it sucks to talk some sense into cheap chinese seniors into getting tested for HBV.  I got to meet some great CAL people while tabling and of course, I met some new stanford friends too!!!  Then, I bumped into Natalie and Sue while volunteering--it was wonderful seeing them cuz I haven't seen them since high school.  They look so different--of course much prettier lah!  After my shift was over, I went home and started cracking down on some physio lectures.

So, my final lasted around 2 hours yesterday when they give us three
hours--I'm not sure if that's a good thing or not.  The bottom
line is that (a) I know the material so well that it only took me 2
hours out of three or (b) the stuff was difficult so there's no point
to just sit there and stare at the questions while wasting my precious
time [it gets dark super early nowadays, and I don't want to travel
home by myself--it's quite dangerous!].  I guess it's actually
both of the reasons combined but overall, I think I did okay.

I resume my volunteering at UCSF today since I wasn't able to make it
last week due to intense finals studying.  But when I got off the
N-Judah at the Irving stop, I saw my family practitioner, Dr.
Lin.  I was so surprised cuz I was busy listening to my zen micro,
and I think he was calling my name but I didnt hear him.  Aiya, so
embarassing lor!  But when I got off the train, he was standing
right in front of me, so I looked up and I finally recognize him.
I talked to him for 15 minutes about pharmacy school and he had to meet
up with his friends to workout in the gym so our conversation had to
end.  Volunteering was definitely not fun today cuz all three of
the stupid robots either malfunctioned or low on battery so I had to
deliver the meds physically.  I was damn tired afterwards, running
up and down the floors and all.  Good workout though, cuz I get to
burn off some calories ar.  When I got home, Diana called me and
tried to make me go out to dinner with Richard, Tuan and Benson
(elementary and middle school friends).  It was too freaking cold
and raining outside and plus, my mom didnt want me to go, so I rejected
her.  Better go to bed, getting late, so updates later.

I'm planning a Las Vegas trip in January.  Aim or call me if you are interested.
