| I am making Danielle sad, cause I never update. So now, I will do TWO updates in one day!!! Wow! She will be shocked! And I'm sure the rest of you will be amazed as well! So . . . new in my life . . . I just got back from Ontario/Michigan/Ohio. I had a great week and a half there. I got to see all of my family, and Brian and Benny. If I missed you, I am sorry! My weekends were booked before I even got there! I had a great time with my nephew (Koen), who learned to say my name, and who cried when I left. Maybe you will think I am an ogre, but I was happy when he cried. He loves me!!! I have moved! Well, my stuff is moved, I'm still unpacking. I moved from a two bedroom apartment to a cute top floor of a house. I love the big windows, the spacious kitchen, and my own laundry facilities! I am sharing the house with a new roomie, Sarah, who is a great girl. The only thing I don't like about her is that her work schedule is a nine day rotation, and she only has to get up early on two of those nine days! The other seven days she can sleep in til whenever!! Grrrr . . . In March I auditioned for a musical - Seven Brides for Seven Brothers. I got a bride part! I was so happy and excited!!! I was SO happy and excited!!!! But . . . sigh . . . they cancelled the show. The director found out she had cancer, so they had to cancel. I understand why they had to, but I am still so very disappointed. I've been looking forward to this for a year. Sigh. Oh well. I'll have to find something else to do with my time, although there will never be anything that could replace dancing and singing on stage!! Well, Danielle, I hope you're satisfied with that! | | |

| Angel on earthLet it be known that Shelly Muir is the awesomest person in the whole wide world!! She's the custodian at our school, but she's also the love of my life at this minute. I had complained to her about my headache and rough day after school, and she just walked in with chocolate cake for me!!! Not JUST cake, but triple-layered, fudge-frosted, strawberry-bedecked, chocolate shaving-strewn chocolate cake! Mmmm . . . my day just got a whole lot better! | | |
| BIG NewsI have exciting news! I'm coming to Ontario/Michigan for my Spring Break! Yay! I didn't think I would be making a trip East, other than for my brother's wedding in May, but I am! And, I have two weeks off! Yay! Although, unfortunately, it's a different week than the schools out there. I'll be flying into London on March 20. I'm not sure exactly where I'll be throughout the two weeks, but I'm planning on taking trips here and there, so if you want a piece of me, let me know! I'll be leaving for B.C. early morning on April 1 (let's hope the airline doesn't pull a joke on me! I wouldn't be that amiable that early in the morning!) | | |
| Christmas TurtleFor those of you wondering, by "Christmas turtle," I meant the turtle I got for Christmas!! Actually, now it's Christmas turtleS!! I got the first one this past Saturday when we were in Kamloops. I soon realized he was the MOST idiotic turtle in the world - paranoid of everything and loves to ram into the glass wall. So I named him Yurtle Owen. I figured this was an idiotic enough name for such a stupid creature. But, yesterday we got another turtle - she is only 40 days old! She's so little and cute! And so much braver and smarter than Yurtle!! She climbs all over the tank, and will stay on land when people move around close to the tank. I named her Myrtle May. Their tank is AWESOME!! It's a twenty gallon tank filled with about four inches of water and blue gravel that slopes up on one side so that there's a bit of ground for them to walk on. In the water is a big piece of driftwood that partially sticks out of the water for the turtles to climb on. In another corner of the tank is a fountain with multiple layers of rock for them to climb and sit on too. On the land we have an African hut for them!!! Isn't that awesome!!!! It's actually a hut for gerbils and hamsters, and it's supposedly edible, but I doubt my turtle will be nibbling on it (they get to eat shrimp!!) This tank is so deluxe I decided it must be the first "PONDOMINIUM!!" | | |
