CAMP STARTS MONDAY.. can't wait..
i'm humbled by the fact that i've been given responsibilities..
i had to give up LOTS of stuff.. i mean LOTS
last night we had anointing..
Pastor Luckie was there.. after worship he asked us to confess our sins to one another, and make to make it right with the people we've wronged that was in our group..
first i went to my accountability partner jove( oh yea,.finally someone i can open up too..)
so yea,.. we confessed our sins.. then he realized the need to ask forgiveness from our mentor.. (we happen to have the same mentor) for keeping from him the things (stupid things) we did the past month..
so we did.. we went to kuya jors.. and asked for forgivenes.. it wasnt easy.. telling him all the stupid things we did the past month.. it was hella scary.. anyhow.. He told us, he was hurt.. and that he didnt understand why we kept everything from him.. but of course he forgave us.. and prayed for us.. *warmfuzzyfeeling* HAHAHA
after that kuya jors told me to confess to ate mona too.. so i did.. but i didnt get to finish.. as i was called to lead people in a song.. we sang hosanna.. which really fit the camp theme "desperate"
(hosanna means--Oh save..or Bring salvation now)
.. ANYHOW.. we worshiped.. then the leaders anointed us.. we do this everytime we are headed to camp or any event for that matter.. yea.. but this one's different.. i think everyone took it seriously this time.. everyone emptied themselves before receiving from God.. it was a really humbling experience.. God didnt let us go without really making things right.. like what they said "God can't use a filthy vessel"
so anyhow.. if you happen to have a burden for GenChurch..
PRAY.
we need your prayers.. specially for this one.. God's been shaking things in our local church.. i believe He's also gonna do some shaking in camp too..*excited and scared
PRAY that GOD would put such a desperation in the hearts of the campers that they'd seek God with ALL their hearts.. that they might find Him.. and search for nothing else any longer..

pray for me.. I'm responsible for worship and music. so yeah.. i'd really appreciate it if you did..
