| Hello All. I just got back from the movies. i saw the movie that Usher is in. It wasn't that bad. Since most musicians that try to crossover to acting usually totally blow, I assumed that he would follow, but I have to give it to him, not shabby. I actually started off seeing RENT and OMG was is terrible! I have never had the urge to walk out of a movie like today. I am so glad that I did. What an awful movie! It is official. I will be spending New Years Eve in Detroit with me family and my cousins JaMarc and Synthia. I have mixed emotions about this trip. 1st it is going to FREEZING cold! That's the biggest thing. Me and the cold don't chill. I will definately have to be prayed up, and remind myself that "Patience is a Virtue." Long trips, espcially with families can be a bit trying, but i have made up my mind to think and speak positively.It will be fun to see family that I haven't seen in forever and just do something different. Thank God I just got my Ipod. It will definately come in handy for the long plane rides, and layovers! Who will keep me dogs? I wish i could take them with me. Sorry for the rambling. I'm just waiting for Waterdeep to finish copying to my hardrive...... Goodnight | | |
| So. It is only 5:00 and it feels like it is 8:00pm. I guess it has been a long day. I went to a funeral today.It was sad. This girls mother died that went to school and church with. The girl was only 16, and her mom was a single parent. I decided that I don't like funerals and that when I have one, if neccessary I want it to be a celebration! Anyways, so my cell group is starting on the Nov 17th, and I am so excited. I'm doing it on Approval Addiction by Joyce Meyers. I really wanted to do it on Blue Like Jazz by Donald Miller. My pastors had never heard of it before so they asked me to do it on something else. Hopefully once we finish this book we will be able to do it on Millers book. I am super excited about the group and am believing for alot of good things to come out of it. It's going to be awesome. From now on, my Thursday's are dedicated to cell meetings. On the 1st and 3rd is my group, and then the 2nd and 4th is to the group that I am in.I'm sure when a 5th Thursday comes along, it will be an amazing thing!
I signed up a girl for Arbonne!! Praise the Lord. Her name is Debbie and she goes to my church. I am excited and she is doing a great job.
My birthday is on Monday, but I keep forgetting. I must be getting older bc i can remember back in the day when i would counting down the days months in advance. I don't know what to do to celebrate. I'm not really in the mood for something big, maybe people can just come over and chill. That sounds nice | | |
| Dang Gina, I haven't posted in forever. My bad! Well what to say. I went to Dallas a couple of weekends ago. Michelle Perez and her daughter Addy went with me, and we had fun. We chilled with Abby and Dimitra, and did some shopping and saw friends. Nothing was more relaxing. We also had so much fun playing with Addy which is the coolest kid ever, she is really cute too! I also got to see my friends from New Hope! Good times. Last weekend I was in a wedding. My friend Lindsay Kline is now Lindsay Gray. The wedding was so cute. I am very happy for my friend. Check out the link on the bottom for pics. I thinking that's it for now. I try to do better updating.
Oh yeah.. My family is movig to a new house. It is on 2.5 acres.They exisiting house is being remodeled and we are adding 1500 + sq ft to it. I'll but some pics on my flickr. It is a work in progress but it will be nice when it is done.
