| | Okay, I have to tell ya about a site I found about two months ago, it's called, John Chow dot Com and he tells everyone all about how he's made money as well as many other business adventures he has been trying out. I actually stumbled upon his site by accident, he'd wrote about Homemom3 and I went over to read about it. John has a few sites that he uses to earn income, but JohnChow.com is actually a personal blog that he likes to keep up with his readers. All the money he makes there he donates to charity, come on ya know that impresses you. I know it does me, course I'd love to be able to make so much money that I'm able to donate. JohnChow.com has a great look to it, but I must be honest (and sorry if you are reading this John) but I loved it better when it was red instead of blue. Something about the blue doesn't sit right with me, but that's just the color. It is very easy to navigate and my favorite feature is in the right hand side it lists the blogs that have recently been commented on and the most recent posts. This is perfect for those of us that hate to scroll down a page. Another fun thing he does is post personal photos to show his viewers that it really is a human doing all these things, not just someone saying they are doing it. If you are trying to find out if anyone can actually make money off blogging, check out his four part series beginning here: Part Time Blogging Full Time Income. In this post he starts off telling you how much in just one week and how he does it. So he isn't one of those that brag about money and then walks away, instead he tells you how much he makes and shares how he does it. There is so much information on John's site that if you visit you'll probalby be scrolling around for about an hour...well if you have the time. Otherwise bookmark it and continue to go back, the information is great and you'll be happy you visited it. Now for PPP I must admit I am getting paid for posting this, but I wanted to add I have posted about John over at Homemom3 many times without any payment. I just think that you should read some blogs that are actually trying to help others make money. |
