i've experienced both situations...and i actually regret quitting the less pay with good hours job for the better paying job. but my kids were really young so i couldn't handle leaving them at daycare all day. soooooo...it depends on your situation. if your kids are in good hands...i would say better pay....but if not, i would rather see my kids more and have less pay......

if more pay means less time to devote to family, then that's a bad choice. If you get paid less, but instead earn more through your investment in your family, then the rewards in that are priceless. Then again, it all depends on how much of a dollar value you place on family...if the pay is a LOT more, it might be worth it later....

are you happy at your current jobsite? sometimes going into a new environment might not work as well as you'd think. that doesn't mean i'm saying you shouldnt..
