| camp update/boyfriendI got the job! They told me I was exactly what they were looking for in March. It was a good day. :) I am now raising support for my job this summer. I have to raise 1050$ but i am hoping to raise more. 1050 is what i could make in about 3 weeks here in Dayton.. not 3 months, but it's ministry. God's work does not pay much here... which stinks when the bills come around! haha. well i'm nervous about this summer but really excited too. I move into my apartment in june.... which won't really be organized until august... but it will be so cute! :) i got a bathroom set and a livingroom set... it's gonna rock! haha. hmm.... what else do i need to tell you? OH YEA! i got a boyfriend a few weeks ago. His name is Jordan. (i know my brother's name is Jordan too... it's weird and confusing) but i like him so it works. well that's all the updates i have for now... later! | | |
| Summer fun! :)While trying to sleep this afternoon I finally figured out what God wants me to do this summer! I was so excited that sleeping was not an option. I couldn't sleep at all, so I got up and started searching for camps online. I found a few that interested me but I didn't decide which one to apply to until I talked with my daddy. He told me about a few that were good biblically and fun to work at... we discussed a few but one stuck out in my mind because it was not too far away from home. Sometimes I want to be as far away from home as can be, but more recently I want to be close to my family. I am sending in my application pretty soon and I am really excited about what God is going to do in my life and the life of the girls I will be working with this summer. God has really revealed himself to me this semester and I thank Him for that. I am so glad that I am surrounded by better, stronger friends who stand for truth and grace. I am so excited that my application is almost all the way filled out... crazy what happens when God gets ahold of your heart! I'm super stoked!!! :) 1 Timothy 1:12 - I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who has given me strength, that he considered me faithful, appointing me to his service.

| Daddy Date :)Today I get to go on a date with my daddy! :) He's the best daddy there is. i'm pretty excited! today went pretty slow... kinda nice tho! I got 8 whole hours of sleep while sleeping in my dorm room. Chris was right- sleeping in my dorm room can be safer than off campus. I went to chapel but i was kinda distracted. I didn't look distracted, but my mind was on another planet... oops! I remember the singing and the child/women rape skit... but other than that i was pretty out there. I went to Gerontology (Connie talked today) and then went to WVI with 2 friends. That class cracks me up. Cooking 101... hahaha! Well i'm gonna crack down on my homework! I can get some stuff done before 7 when my daddy's coming to get me. | | |
| Military Ball PrepI went shopping yesterday for a ball gown for the military ball coming up. I found a few that i kind a liked and a lot that i wanted to throw across the store. I tried on some down in Middletown, but failed to find one that flattered my body type. I guess I just have too much curve. who knew? jk ... so Ameaa didn't find any either, so we headed back to the back because she needed to tinkle. On the way out the door I spotted a sign saying 25-75% off Coach and Dooney... I almost died (as you should know). I walked to the counter and saw some really cute purses up there, and asked if I could see a few. She handed me some that were 25% off (160$-270%) so i asked her to put them back. then she handed me one that was 70% off... i kinda just said I would purchase it on the spot. then she said she would check the back to see if there were anymore 75% off... she came back with a fancy Dooney bucket and wallet that i had been wanting... for 30$$$ I bought that on the spot too... I left middletown pretty happy and then headed to David's Bridal. I decided i would try on a few (most of which were out of my price range) and I found one that I really liked. I had 3 back home that I have yet to wear, but it was on sale for 60$ instead of 180$ so i thought it was a pretty good deal. I bought it.

| Kids and NursingWell, today I
went to Rocking Horse Center 1, and I got to help little kids all day.
Wouldn't it be amazing to work with little people every day? to work
with kids who get excited about growing 2 inches, or love to squeel
when they are happpy? oh the joy of kids. I am torn between Psych
Nursing and Peds... how different are those. I think I enjoy them both
for the same reasons. In Psych- you never have the same day twice.
Everything is always changing and it makes it exciting. In Peds, every
little kid has a different story, different smiles, different laughs...
never the same parent or child. It was a great day! :)
