I'm pretty sure I'm the worst substitute teacher that Sikeston Junior High has ever had. The kids love me, but when they are in my class they are so wild and crazy. I like hanging out with this age group, I guess, and it's just fun to hang out and just chill out with them. But the other teachers probably think that I am crazy.

I guess you either have to be liked by the faculty OR the students. You usually don't win both crowds. And the students are cooler than the faculty.

In fact, the teacher in the classroom next to mine is kinda scary even to me. He looks like his face is made from alligator skin and his voice is absolutely monotone. He keeps coming in and checking on me like I should be afraid of the children. haha.

In other news, an eighth grader just showed me a picture of her 3 month old daughter. There is something really strange about that. She was talking about her baby like any proud mother would be, showing me the picture, telling me things she has been doing.. and I'm sitting there thinking. You got pregnant when you were in the 7th grade!! OMG!

It shouldn't surprise me still. But it does. She is just so little.

 moni anama kinoma

Life is unbelievable beautiful.

God is doing amazing things.

I love GOD!
I love living at home again with my sisters!
I love being able to hang out with my dad as much as I want!
I love the fall!
I love how my substitute teaching job is different every day.
I love talking to my mom about everything again.
I love how my friends in Cape still hang out with me even though I moved home.
I love my sunday school class, and just all the children God has put in my life lately.
I love how God took control of my life, snuck up on me, and surprised with me with blessings I never dreamed of.
I love having a best friend (Lindsey) who is always there when I need to talk and that I can just hang out with.

Oh yeah, speaking of things I love.

matty dean and friends

See the guy in the black?
Yeah, he's pretty much the most amazing person I know.

So my niece, Hannah, has taken up soccer this year. It's actually probably the cutest thing I've seen in a long time. Except, she is definitely no Beckham....in fact, she stayed in the same spot she is in right here the ENTIRE time she was on the field.

We would cheer her and she would just look at us. Or better yet dance to the imaginary music inside her little head.

The other kids ran by several dozen times, almost hitting her a couple of those times, and she didn't  turn around - - or flinch. Not only was she not playing in  the game... but she actually seemed to be unaware that a game was, in fact, going on.

She did, however, manage to spend a lot of time playing with a couple of the boys along the sidelines though.

Join a soccer team to meet the fellas... a girl after my own heart. lol.

Meanwhile, Lizze, Hannah's little sister, was enjoying a lovely afternoon of spectating.

Apparently, She really liked those nachos.

"Pinkies Up!"  She's so sophisticated. lol.

So, I moved most of my things out of the apartment upstairs that Linds and I have lived in for the past two years.

And it's over... life as I know it. haha. Thank God!!

Here are some random photos from my last semester at SEMO:

Karen's surprise birhtday party, her last week before going back to Ireland.  There were all of these cheesyAmerican flags,  it was hilarious. We tried the best we could to turn her American.. hehe.

Fun at Ryan's house.

Everyone needs that one friend that you can just be yourself around... even if yourself should never see the light of day.

Sho-guns!!! Best food in Cape, I say.

No I didn't really go to prom. Jess and Megan dolled me up and crowned me queen while Kasi was at her prom.

Amanda's birthday at Lambert's - - look at that tasty throwed roll!

What does Emily do after she has mastered the art of pilates?

Getting back to my roots.

So, I finished my last final today. It was easy. It was about, like, every tense of the spanish language and every gramatical rule there is. So, basically an overall test over everything we have ever learned in spanish. I studied, bracing myself for the worst that could possibly happen. I expected that she would but words and verbs on the test that I would have never expected . . .so I studied them all. And then the test came and it had five verbs on it! The same five verbs used over and over in different tenses. I was like, "You have GOT to be kidding.. but she wasn't. Turns out : The majority of our final grade came from the composition I wrote last week, which I aced. So the part of the test we took today was very unimportant, and laughably simple. Glad that it was easy, but a little upset that I studied. hahaha.

The votes are in. I get to graduate Saturday! yay!

By the way, Linds - - I wrote the first chapter!
